Any new applicants will have an opportunity to get one of the few rooms I still have or one of the cancellations we have every year so there is still a chance to get a room at the Golden Nugget comped for the nights of Friday August 14th and Saturday August 16th.
The criteria has been posted in this thread since day one in Early May when I posted the thread. I said then I would post an alert when I had less than ten rooms available and the criteria in which we will use to distribute the final available rooms:
Posters who are interested in one of the few remaining rooms need to email me at wilheim@therx.com and CC sportsavant@therx.com and person19481950@yahoo.com. Include your name that will be used to reserve the room and your poster name please.

Note: Rooms are not unlimited so Rx management while doing their very best to accommodate everyone who wants to reserve a comp room is going to use a criteria of longevity as a poster along with quantity of posts on the site to select who the rooms go to if we surpass our limit. Attention all Rx.com Posters planning on attending Rx Bash 2009 at The Golden Nugget in Las Vegas this August.
Each guest will be comped one double room at The Golden Nugget for the nights of Friday August 14th and Saturday August 15th..
Las Vegas residents please do not ask for a comp room as it might force us to leave someone off the comp room list from out of town.
Naturally any hotel services charged to the room will be the responsibility of the card holder to pay in full upon check out. Guests who want to stay extra nights will be responsible for paying for those nights. Right now extra nights are available at The Golden Nugget at a rate of $39 plus tax per night.
Posters can bring one guest who will have to share your comp room with you.
Posters who plan to attend and require a room need to email me at wilheim@therx.com and CC sportsavant@therx.com and person19481950@yahoo.com in order to obtain access to the secure Rx.com reservations link. Please include your Poster name in the email. Emails must be received at all three addresess to be eligible.
You will receive an email sometime within the next several weeks after you send your room request email.
All that is required in the email is your poster name spelled exactly as you use it on the forum. Please make sure all punctuation and spaces are included when you type the poster name in the email you send to us.
Please title the email "Rx Bash 2009 Reservation Request".

We do have a large block of rooms reserved so hopefully everyone who wants a room will get one. Please make certain you are serious about attending before you request a room.
Finally, anyone who reserves a room and does not show will be charged for one night ocupancy rate against their credit card - $69. Posters will be allowed a 72 hour grace period to contact The Rx.com to cancel in the event that you are unable to attend for a legitimate reason.
Please email me at wilheim@therx.com with CC to sportsavant@therx.com and person19481950@yahoo.com if you need to cancel. Do not forget the 72 hour prior to Friday at 6PM PDT on August 14th. deadline if you have to cancel. This is necessary to insure that all the rooms we pay for end up occupied.
Your credit card will not be charged anything for the two Rx Bash 2009 nights. The only charges you will need to pay when checking out are for any hotel services charged to your room.
I will be posting the itinerary by early July, sometime before the 4th of July. I will go into detail in that post regarding any contests, giveaways, special events, and time schedules, the menu for our banquet which as usual will include open bars (please kindly tip your servers).
Personally I am looking forward to our best Bash ever, The Golden Nugget is a great venue with a fine sportsbook and beautiful amenities throughout the hotel and casino. The Rooms themselves have been recently remodeled and are as nice as any used by us from past Bashes.

The Rx Contest Department led by Sportsavant will be holding some fun and lucrative pre-Bash contests with the winners being awarded their prizes at The Reception Dinner on Saturday Night August 15th in one of The Golden Nugget banquet rooms (I will announce it's name in the itinarary). There will also be plenty of other giveways plus our usual raffle at the end of the reception dinner.
