TAMPA BAY-3 -130

Buy the point down to three if you can. Play for 1 unit if you can buy down to 3. If you cant get 3 play it for half a unit at 4 or 4.5. We have the good psychological edge with revenge here. We also have a very good home team with Tampa Bay. Garcia has been solid and I really like his mobility in the pocket. The Saints have a banged up secondary as well. Lastly, I really like the Tampa 2 defense going against Brees. If they can get pressure with the front 4 and put 7 in coverage it could slow Brees down. Some good matchups and a short week for the Saints puts us on Tampa.

Matchup: Baltimore at Cincinnati
Time: 1:00 PM EDT (Sun)

Play: Over (35.0 -110)
Posted on: November 28, 2008 @ 3:00:15 AM EST
The 'over' is 5-0-1 in Baltimore's last six games. The 'over' is 4-1-1 for the Ravens in their six home games. Cincy moved the ball fairly well against Pittsburgh last week, but only came up with 10 points. Getting Chad Johnson back into the lineup after serving a one-game suspension should give the offense a lift. Low total here so it's not like we need to see a shoot-out. If the weather.com forecast on Thursday proves accurate, we should be ok on weather. It'll be cold and might snow later in the game, but little wind is expected and that's the only thing I worry about weather-wise when it comes to backing an 'over.'

Matchup: Carolina at Green Bay
Time: 1:00 PM EDT (Sun)

Play: Green Bay (-3.0 -110)

Green Bay has won its last two home games in blowout fashion over the Bears (37-3) and Colts (34-14). I don't know that the Pack are going to run away and hide from the Panthers early and often, but I'm confident they'll cover this short number at Lambeau Field. The Panthers have lost three straight road games as underdogs, including last week's 45-28 pounding from the Falcons in Atlanta. Carolina QB Jake Delhomme struggling all of a sudden and I could see Charles Woodson getting a pick this week. Give me Green Bay.

Matchup: Atlanta at San Diego
Time: 4:05 PM EDT (Sun)

Play: Atlanta (+5 -110)

San Diego has won by more than five points just three times in 11 games this season. The Chargers haven't won by more than one point in five consecutive outings. The Falcons, meanwhile, have been beaten by more than four points just once in their last seven games. They dealt out woodshed treatment to Oakland in their last trip to the West coast. Matt Ryan continues to steadily improve and there's no reason to think he's not poised for another big outing here. Remember, he has 220 passing yards or more in six straight games. Atlanta RB Michael Turner, fresh off a four-TD performance against Carolina last week, will be hyped to play well against his former team. I think the Falcons, who are 7-4, have a great shot to win outright against the Chargers, who are 4-7. Therefore, I'll gladly take the points and the underdog in this matchup.

Guaranteed Plays
Matchup: San Fran. at Buffalo
Time: 1:00 PM EDT (Sun)

Play: Over (42.0 -110)
Posted on: November 28, 2008 @ 3:09:09 AM EST
The 'over' is on a 6-1-1 run in San Francisco's last eight games. The 49ers have seen the 'over' go 3-1-1 in their road games, while Buffalo has also seen the 'over' go 3-1-1 in its home outings. San Francisco's defense has given up at least 29 points in seven of its last eight games. Buffalo has seen the 'over' cash in back-to-back games thanks to scoring ouputs of 54 and 27 by the Bills alone.

Pick Selection: Bet on the BILLS to cover the spread

Buffalo should have an easy time of it in this spot facing a very mediocre 49ers team that has to travel from the West Coast and play an early game. Add to that the expected chilly weather, the fact that the Bills have been solid at home and are coming off a much-needed win last week (a profitable rout over the Chiefs, where we had the Bills), and the spread looks a little too small for the favorites.

Our database predicts a double-digit margin of victory for the BILLS so lay the -6.5 points and savor some home cooking

Indy -4.5
Yes..it looks like and smells like a set up line. But the Colts are surging and the Browns are going backwards. A serious issue in man to man matchups at the DB and WR's for the Browns here as Peyton Manning can ands will dissect this zone coverage. Indy also back to running the ball better and the defense is far better with Bob Sanders back wreaking havoc. QB Quinn now gone, QB Anderson back in as he has issues with turnovers and forcing it into coverage. Look for the Colts pass rush to disrupt things. Colts are at LEAST a TD better than the Browns, even on the road.

Play 2 Units on Indianapolis

2 TEAM 6 POINT TEASER- Tease Baltimore down to -1 and Tease the Bears to +9.5 and play 2 Units

25 Units, Take Green Bay ATS, The Packers are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games after allowing more than 250 passing yards and this pick falls into one of my top NFL systems so take the Packers as my NFL NFC Game of the Year.

Love this game should be very good early game but expect NYG to pull away late. NYG just go win no matter who is in or out!! Last week NYG went w/o best 2 offensive players but still put up over 40 pts. Expect the same this week will run, run, run the ball with the best offensive line in football!! WASH can't score 40 so will not win this one!! SCORE NYG 38 - WAS 28

NFL BEST BETS

5 Units - SAN DIEGO CHARGERS (-5) by 14 over Atlanta Falcons - Some things are simply not meant to be - and one of those things must be the San Diego Chargers (4-7) in 2008. This was a team that was one of the co-favorites to win the Super Bowl but has instead turned into one of the most snake-bitten teams in recent memory. Last week, the Chargers lost to Indianapolis 23-20 on a last-second field goal. The week before, it was an 11-10 loss at Pittsburgh. The seven Charger losses this season have come by a total of 28 points, or an average of 4.0 points per game. Still, San Diego comes to play and one can expect the Chargers to fire up again for this one against the surprising Atlanta Falcons (7-4). There is no question San Diego has the more talented team and my figures say they will at last get "lucky" against the Falcons, who are led by a rookie quarterback and that is always a hazard on the road.

4 Units - NEW YORK JETS (-7½) by 13 over Denver Broncos - Some magic things are happening for the New York Jets (8-3) since they acquired veteran quarterback Brett Favre, who set a world of records at Green Bay. New York comes into this game after handing the Tennessee Titans their first loss of the season, 34-13, and just in case one thinks that road victory was a fluke, please note it was New York's fifth straight win and its seventh in its last eight games. The Jets have become a very good football team under the ability and leadership of Favre and they seem to have almost all the edges in this home game against the Denver Broncos (6-5), the most over-rated team in the NFL. If Denver could not muster any offense or defense in last week's 31-10 home loss to the hapless Oakland Raiders, why should one think they can do much against a dramatically better New York team? My money says they can't and won't as the Jets win their sixth in a row and their eight in their last nine games.

3 Units - BUFFALO BILLS (-7) by 13 over San Francisco 49ers - Just call this a best bet play made on the basis of that old tried-and-true West Coast to East Coast rule. For the record, 11 times this season teams from the Pacific time zone have flown east to compete in the Eastern time zone and 11 times they have met defeat. That's 0-11, my friend, and there is no reason to expect any different outcome here. San Francisco (3-8) even has the added disadvantage of traveling cross country for the second straight weekend. Last week they were in Dallas and lost 35-22. Now they face the double whammy of going all the way and history says it will cost them the game. Buffalo (6-5) turned it all loose against a bad Kansas City team and won 54-31. If the Bills can play anywhere remotely as well as that this week, they should own the 49ers - much improved but
simply in a bad spot.
