I thought about that too with the whole ESPN home dog, but the game is not on espn (not like the tv channel really matters). Thursday home dogs are a ridiculous cover, but like we saw with the monday night under (previously 7 or 8-0 on the over), all things come to an end.

As for VT -3, VT is coming off an 0-2 away losing streak. Howevever, these losses were 23-28 to BC and 20-30 to FSU. Maryland is coming off of a 2 game HOME winning streak barely beating NCST and crushing Wake. There is just something about college football and the home crowd advantage. I wouldn't be surpised if VT blew them out tonight.

VTech is at home.. the ESPN stat is HOME TEAMS (not just dogs) since '05 are >70% ATS It was 31-12 at the start of the season, this year its 7-2. so 38-14 since 05'. Take VTECH:toast:

It is listed as a Blank Check game in the e-mail I got from him, promoting the play. Maybe he downgraded it, not sure.

there is really no theory. i just pointed it out because he was on both favs today. it's very hard to have two college games on back-to-back days having all the favs cover the spread. i personally couldnt remember the last time that happened.
