Comments: The Los Angeles Lakers will look to regain homecourt tonight against the Houston Rockets in Game 3 despite not having the services from a key starter. Guard Derek Fisher will miss Game 3 due to a suspension from striking Houston's Luis Scola with his shoulder & head. Shannon Brown will get his 1st career postseason start on Friday & is averaging 6.4 points per game on 52 percent shooting in 7 playoff games. Comments: After pulling off his 3rd postseason triple-double, Rajon Rondo will look to lead the Boston Celtics tonight against the Orlando Magic in Game 3 of the Semifinals. Orlando will have to play tonight without Rafer Alston, who will serve a 1-game suspension for striking Boston's Eddie House in the back of the head during Game 2. Anthony Johnson will start in Alston's place, who is averaging 4.9 points per game on 37 percent shooting for the playoffs. The Magic will however welcome the return of Courtney Lee, who will play tonight with a protective mask that was suffered from a fractured sinus injury during the 1st round. Lee is averaging 15.8 points per game on 48 percent shooting so far for the playoffs. Boston will hope to have another strong performance from Eddie House, who outscored Orlando's entire bench (31 to 29) by himself with a sizzling 11-of-14 effort that included hitting all 4 of his three-point tries. Look for the Celtics to regain homecourt & earn a big road win tonight in Orlando. All Celtics!

.... And we'll say it again... The Magic lack the killer instinct it takes to win a championship. Can't really put our finger on what the problem is but Orlando is not playing sound ball right now. They're not finishing teams off when they have their feet on their opponents throats. We look for Boston to snatch home court advantage back tonight as the last thing they want is to be looking down the barrel of returning home down 3-1. The Celtics are the better team here and will be more defensive minded on the road tonight....

We're coming right back with our same play as Wednesday. Despite Kobe's 40 points and a 64 point 1st quarter in game 2, the game only made it over by 16 points. Things settled down a bit after Q1 as there were 50, 49, & 46 scored in the remaining quarters. We'll chalk up that performance to the Lakers getting embarrassed at home in game 1 and Kobe being on a mission because of it. The facts remain though... defense wins championships and Houston is one of the best defensive teams in the NBA. We can't see a repeat performance by Kobe tonight as he will be out of his element... away from the Staple's Center. We look for the Rockets to do what they do best on their home court and for the game to be played in the eighties.... a far cry from Wednesday...
