How difficult is the process of Dual citizenship? and if you have time could you list some of the PROs that you see

it is pretty difficult, unless you have grandparents that were born abroad in a dozen or so countries...or have about $400K to buy one from a couple obscure countries
The easiest, is Israel, as all JEWS are allowed access back to the homeland
That is the route I plan to take. it entails convincing a local rabbi you have "converted" to the jewish faith, and then just taking a trip there to get set up. Bit more complicated than that but I relish the challenge. if nothing else it will be an enlightening vacation
as far as the pros........the US is slowly turning into a police state...IF SHTF and marshal law is declared at some point, they aint going to let you out. people of course scoff at this, but there will be wars over energy soon.
