Last night - if you used money management, you ended up even, or a little bit up. I put 500 on Baltimore at +102 and won easily. I also went with Houston +280. In NCAA Football, I put 500 on Houston to win 1400. It was a good play, considering the 500 was essentially covered by the Orioles bet. Houston looked good early – and in the second half was a dropped pick 6 away from being in great position to pull off the upset that I was looking for. However, they dropped that Pick-6 and Washington State took the ball down, scored, and then immediately got another turnover and scored, and that my friends, was the ballgame and our bet.
As we continue on this website, I’m going to talk to you about strategies to help you minimize your losses – something 99.9% of gambling sites don’t do. Manage your money and your bets. Hedge Hedge Hedge. Play for middles. Use time zone teasers to your advantage. COVER YOURSELF!!! PROTECT YOUR MONEY. Gambling is more about how much you DO NOT LOSE than how much you win. Anyone telling you about ‘sure things’ and ‘locks’ is someone leading you to bankruptcy. Take yesterday. The early play on Baltimore was looking very good. Now, the time zone difference wasn’t perfect, but by 10PM I was in a position where I was going to end up Even for the night, or up $1400. That’s a great place to be. And it’s where YOU need to be.
Today, I’m starting off a Triple Dip 10 point Time Zone Teaser. The play at Noon (Eastern Time) is on Illinois. The lines are from 5Dimes. They are currently -7.5 over Eastern Michigan. This is the THIRD STRAIGHT road game for EMU. This is a play I like at -7.5 – and LOVE at +2.5. So I’m on Illinois.
The 2nd leg of the Triple Dip is the 3pm game of Central Michigan and Akron under – listed at 46. I’m taking the Under 56.
The 3rd and final leg is at 6pm on UMass. The line is at +21, I’m dipping this up to +31 vs Charlotte.
Now, you can hedge either the 2nd or 3rd leg, or both by taking Central MI/Akon OVER 36 and/or Charlotte -11. Shoot for the middles.
Another good play is at 3:30pm on Oklahoma St -14. You can sub that into the 2nd leg of the Triple Teaser if you don’t like the CMU/Akron under bet, and get OSU down to -4. But HEDGE HEDGE HEDGE. Try for middles, and minimize any losses.
In MLB I’m going right back on the Orioles. They have some sticks and can outslug the Tigers in every game this weekend. I’m on them at +104 at BETONLINE.ag.

125 Air Force 3.5(-110) Westgate vs 126 Colorado single-dime bet
Analysis: These two haven’t met since 1974. This is nice scheduling spot here for Air Force catching Colorado off the dramatic come-from-behind OT win over Nebraska while the Falcons come in off a bye. Clearly, Air Force will treat this game like their Super Bowl vs an in-state “big brother” they never get to play. Note new Colorado head coach Mel Tucker did prep for Georgia Tech’s option while D.C. at Georgia the last couple of years. However, Colorado has been out-gained in each of their first two wins and we feel this stadium will be a little sleepy considering the 11:00am local kick.
