Here is my opinion on the next big fight.
Vitali is tough, has good power, a very good chin and carrys his power late if he has to and can go twelve rounds.
He is and should be the favorite, but also there are some weaknesses :
He goes back straight or is just leaning back, which is great if it works because he can counter right away but Sanders has the best fastest and hardest straight left in HW boxing today.
What about those nasty cuts ?
Do they hold up when he gets hit flush by sanders and he will get hit ?
Also Vitali seem to develop his left hook his power shot is the straight right which is hard and fast but not in the same league as Sanders left.
The tactic i would suggest :
Vitali should use his left jab and hold his right 5 inches directly in front of his face, (Sanders likes to hit direct on the mouth) and use the right ONLY AS COUNTER in the first 5 6 rounds.
If Vitali goes first with his rights Sanders will counter him bigtime.
I believe that Vitali will go first and thats why i think Sanders is a very live dog.
Also I believe Sanders stamina is not so bad the guy has a pulse rate of 52 right now thats damn good for a HW if you ask me and he as a very good preparation he will come in at under 225 which is his best weight.
He doesnt look like a 38 year old fighter to me and he sure is a killer in the first rounds.
He was so relaxed against Vlad it was unreal Vitali was very tight in the first round against Lewis he breathes heavy in the beginning of a fight.
This should be a hell of a fight will it last and very hard to predict.
I got sanders at +500 and +600 that pretty crazy if you ask me.
What i dont like is Sanders chin but hey its a dog and I believe if its a shoot out in the first three sanders is a nearly as likley to land as Vitali.
Sorry pretty long post :
Search and take sanders anywhere near +400.

I totally agree with you. I feel that the longer it goes the better Vitali's chances are. Anyone who doesnt know Sanders should think of him as a Tyson style fighter, not so much technique, but more his power and his fast starts. If he does start fast i dont think he will be lively come the 6th or 7th. Vitali will get harder than he ever did before, and ive never been hit by either, but i think Sanders hits harder than Lewis. Just watch Sanders training Video on Maxboxing.com. Sounds like he is hitting the mits with a Louisville Slugger. I am very excited to see this fight and i feel it could go either way.

Tell me something, how many times have you guys seen Sanders and Klitschko fight? Youve seen Sanders fight only one time and Klitschko twice probably. What do you guys really know about Sanders? I dont know much because I have only seen him fight that one time. I have tapes of Vitali and have seen him fight several.

I agree that Sanders has a chance of winning this fight but lets be honest here, you guys dont know alot about him.

I have seen nearly every fight of Vitali.
About sanders you are right i have seen only two fights versus Vlad and Rahman.
But i have talk to people that have seen Sanders several times before and know more about boxing than me.
This people warned me before the Vlad fight that Sanders is a bad dude and very dangerous for Vlad and thankfully i listened.
The thing i dont like is that Vlad lost and now everybody thinks the seem will happen to Vitali the odds for Sanders would be higher if Vlad had won.

Ok - so heres my question: If he lost to Rahman how can he be a bad dude? Rahman is fuking horrible. Was Rahman a better fighter at that time then he is now? Because at the present he is awful.

vitali wins this fight. he is smart enough to be careful and take the oppertunities when he gets them. his straight punches will beat sanders wide ones

Rahman use to be much better. Quicker, more jabs, combos... he has went down big time. Slower, less confidence. Sanders beat Rahman at his best... Ruiz beat him at his worst.

Corrie Sanders is one bad, F-ckin dude. He can easily KO Vitali.

LOOK AT AL COLES' RECORD.

Cole has cement for a chin. Now, how many boxers on Al Coles' record do you see Ko'ing him early? One. Corrie Sanders. Sander's has freakish strengh and speed. And, this means nothing regarding boxing... but the guy can bench-press 500 lbs. He strengh and power is crazy!!! Plus, he's a southpaw!

Also, Sanders was 'out of shape' for Hasim.

This will be a great fight.

Sanders didnt beat Rahman. Rahman knocked him out. Sanders knocked Rahman down but Rahman came back to knock him out.

Yes, sorry... I meant Sanders fought Rahman at his best. My mistake.

Hey, Lennox Lewis is picking Sanders to win the fight, and admited to avoiding him when he was fighting.

In Klitschko vs. Sanders I like the under 5.5.

I wasn't going to bet it due to the chalk... but I found a fresh 30 cent line at wsex and took a little bite.

My play at 5dimes; props; Sanders rds.1-3+1234
and Sanders rds.4-6 +1400. In my misguided
opinion the best value taking into consideration
what's been posted here and a live dog.

Well Dog and under parlay would pay +650 roughly per 100 bet. You cant do that so, IMo your just better off takin Sanders period or inside the distance as opposed to the specific rd props are pretty much the same and you get 6 more rds to do it in.

I have played that too, also a little on klitschko in 10 to 12 at 1600.
There is good two way action for that fight, for a short time you could get KO Klitschko for -210, tempting but i stayed with my dog play.
The weight of sanders shocked me a bit, but i believe he was bluffing a bit (with clothes and maybe drink a lot).
Pretty funny weigh in Klitschko trying to look intimitating holding his breath and and Sanders laughing and giving him a hand shake and a claps on the arm.
I thought long and hard about that fight but i wouldnt wager much money on anything not even not going the distance. Sanders is a solid value play but will probably not make it, I hope he will at least land something.
So lets hope grandpa Sanders gets his shit together for 3 rounds.
Good luck

Sanders weighed in w/ shoes on as weell. He was 10 pounds heavier than usual. IMO the shoes, sweats, shirt added up to the diff. I think his weight is not an issue. It all boils down to whether Vitali struggles w/ southpaw and if Sanders has to fight backing up, which he cant do.

sanders was woefully out of shape...he looked every bit of 38...

and the guy`s plan was..."i`ll try and get lucky like i did with his brother.....no jabs...no body work....i`ll just keep throwing the left hand"....

in poor shape.....no plan "b"....????...he takes a good beating...i`ll give him that...

i`ve seen toughman fighters with better skills..

time to retire,corrie....

the scary part is,he almost got lucky....

part of the heavyweight problem is a huge void of decent american heavyweights...it`s european dominated now...everybody fights with a style reminiscent of the amateurs.......stiff... robotic...

or you get a ruiz/oquendo snorefest....i heard that instead of "punchstat",they used "clinchstat".....lol

to be fair,golota/byrd was entertaining.....golota was in fantastic shape and fought damned well for being out of the game for a good while....

in this current heavyweight mess,he`s a legit threat...

if i don`t see another heavyweight fight without james toney or roy jones in it,it`ll be fine by me...

what a horrible division...can`t honestly remember a much worse time for heavyweights...
