SHRINK:

why is it that when you have a play you have to post it in Bold letters in all the forums? why not simply post in the particular sports forum at hand like the rest of us? & why the CAPS LOCK...additionally, if you are gonna do this...especially knowing that your name is influential...don't you think you should specify the buying of 1/2 points? after all many newbies may be blindly following....of course this is not your responsibility, however if you hype it...it should be done correctly...no?

you are one of the better posters here, I enjoy reading your posts...if SHRINK in your opinion fvcked up....who cares? after all it is just one person...are you telling me there is no one left here of intelligence that you care communicate with...why would you leave in protest...seems childish? If this is not the case then we should at least know the reasons behind your decisions...NO?

call a spade a spade more often...a rookie would be torched for past posting information the way SHRINK did in his post....call him on it...instead of jumping to his defence...for what it is worth I beleive SHRINK may have bought down...I also beleive he simply errrred when not posting it, he made a mistake, he simply didn't post the spread...no big deal, he doesnt deserve to be flogged...

Too many people too afraid to speak their minds on these threads...dont understand these thread politics...please enlighten me...

Mainly because when Shrink has a play posters want to know - did you see all the posts begging for his play after he said he would have one. Caps lock is a non issue - I mean who really cares one way or another upper or loweer case, they are the same words with the same meaning.

Sensitive issue buying points. imo plays posted Offshore or in forums are just that plays. Getting the best value with the particular play is up to individual posters. As soon as you start recommending things like it is no play unless you buy the hook, the play loses strength. In this case Shrink predicted a 17 point win, how can he say buy the hook. Why he did is his business.

As far as "newbies" go I doubt there are many real neo-phytes here that don't have any idea how to make a bet at the best possible number.

Not sure what any mod could do here, a play is posted it fell near the number - big deal. Who is jumping to his defense?

first off .if a new or casual poster would have did this people would have blowed it off

their are people that sit in wait for a high profile poster to make any type of posting mistake

sports S..... does it REALLY surprise you that people who post opposing opinions to regular posters here get blasted?
There be some old, fat catfish at the bottom of this pond that dont like being challenged especially by relativly new posters; but then again the only ones who seem to have longevity in this place are those bobbing head dolls that follow the crowd. Things that make you go Hmmmm.
Maybe thats why OF jumped the pond, tired of having to play along simply to stay in here or constant threat of being gang tackled by the regular group got to him finnally.
I agree with you 100% people are afraid to post what is on their mind. IMO this is why...There are a group of posters here that will jump all over anyone who opposes any of their views, regardles of who is right or if a solid point is brought up. No matter what the thread topic is around here nowadays it always seems to end with one poster insulting or fighting another. If you cant fight the facts then challenge the character of the poster is the mantra.
To me it seems that too many judge a posters credibility by the # of posts they register and not based on the content of each post. Smilleys and other emotions should not count towads post counts IMO maybe the mods can do something about that.
Thats where OF stood out he always made quality posts and he contributed to the thread topic at hand, his example should be for all of us.
