That "sweetheart" was some lady (girl) he met there last year..believe she was a stripper at some tity bar and they just "hooked up"...BTW does tity have 2 t's or 1??? :monsters- C U all there again this year...getting in thursday!!!!

Gator and I are the 2 "Old men " of the Rx......(mostly Gator Coach as I am in GREAT shape):lolBIG: look forward to seeing everybody again.....too bad the only real sports betting this time of year is some NASCAR (boo) bases and some preseason Feetball.....hopefully PPeter is up to date on his preseason...

Cee, that is unofficial, anyone can try to make a reservation after August 1st but I am not sure if anything will be available at the Golden Nugget for the nights of August 19th and 20th. Natrually posters not staying at the Nugget can make reservations anywhere (at their own expense) and still attend the Bash.

We have over 120 rooms reserved by Rxers as of Thursday July 28th. for the two nights. This will be our biggest Bash ever.

Tried calling today, but since its Sunday I only got voicemail, which is what I expected.

Was the unofficial deadline before August 1 or will it be ok for me to call tomorrow August 1 and make reservations?

Dawoof, there is no unofficial deadline, it is up to the Nugget regarding the comped rooms. Any poster can come down to the Nugget for the festivities, comped room or not. Go ahead and try Marie tomorrow, she may have more rooms available, just tell her you are a poster from the RX...

not at all MR L

just show up at the banquet room early that saturday to get a seat not sure the max amount or tables the RX gets but id get there early to get a seat....tourney starts at noon get there like 1130 or earlier

not sure what the max allowed for the tourney will be

If that's the case, what was the purpose of the poker tournament sign-up thread a couple of weeks ago? Now, all of a sudden, it's first-some-first-entered? Just show up? Not good.
