0-1. Utah St was not play I believe?
Couple of observations from the numbers side.. do as you will with them:
-Pitt and Iowa State are both RDs going up against favorites with a negative rushing rank
-LA Tech is going up against the team (Hawaii) with the lowest rushing rank, but is also in the negative as well
-Washington leads the RDs with the highest net difference, going up against Ohio state
-Clemson has the highest net difference (against ND) out of the favorites. Also has the highest rushing rank.. almost 1.5 points higher than second (miss state)
There were a lot of line movements this year. 11 teams from the original list remained underdogs. These teams went 6-5.
ASU – L
NIU – L
Troy – W
Houston – L
Wisconsin – W
Iowa St. – W
Purdue – L
OU – W
Pitt – W
Washington – W
UCF – L
There were also 5 teams that started off as dogs, but were bumped up to favorites. They went 4-1 (depending on what price you got GA Southern and Sparty).
GA Southern – W
LA Tech – W
Cal – L
Nevada – W
Mich. St – W
That brings you to a total record of 10-6. ASU and Houston were definite no plays for me considering the players sitting out in those games. UCF had a huge jump up in competition. Hindsight is 20-20, but if you take those 3 teams out, the RDs ended up with an impressive 10-3 record.
PS - Clemson is one tonight, a pretty big one actually.
