The Philadelphia Phillies. If not them then nobody. The Phillies have the prospects to pull the trigger and have been after Halladay for about three years now.

It's up to Roy. He has to waive the no-trade clause in order to move.

Not really... Its up to the team trying to get him. They have to offer enough for the GM to even approach Roy. I highly doubt that Roy would turn down going to the Phillies or Yankees (The 2 front runners right now).

Would hate hate hate for him to go to the yanks or the red sox.

Philly would be cool but wonder how he would do with batting

I agree with the Yanks part, He's Not the same, and might be on the Down side....

Downside maybe, but its a long long shallow slope. He's got another 5 years. He's a legend when if comes to between starts routine.

I'll take any downside pitcher who is 10-2 with an ERA under 3 on my team any day of the week.

The Blue Jays would probably take Clayton Kershaw and a couple of minor league prospects for Halladay.

That would make the Dodgers clear NL favorites.

What I'm saying is the Yanks could offer Arod, Jeter, Cano, CC, and 1 billion dollars. Halladay can still say NO.
Guess I wasn't clear.

the White Sox will come out of nowhere and this will allow them to surpass the Tigers in the Central and with a trio of Halladay/Buehrle/Danks will be tough in a playoff series....im thinking Gordon Beckham/Gavin Floyd and 2 more stud prospects. If not the Sox then the Phillies I just think the Sox are gona be ever so thankful Peavy nixed the trade to the windy city because look what they will end up with now...the best in the biz :toast:
