If she sticks to her guns, the company would not let you do it, for one thing. Human resources would go to the CEO and they would all back down. They might even take her side to avoid bad publicity. God forbid she is a single mom, too.
Your career would be in jeapordy, not just with this company but you would even probably have trouble with employment elsewhere if it gets to the media and they, of course, take the side of the black woman.
If I'm an executive I am responsible for managing the personnel in my department. To not
terminate her would be negligence on my part and reason for my own dismissal. If I am
overruled by HR or the CEO so be it. Not sure I would want to continue working at that company.
If it were a Trump company I doubt there would be any backlash. Hypothetically of course.

AA's can navigate and take advantage of this fact every day, to help get what they want, and many do.
