Lackey v. Lester to start us off on WED. This is the Halos year, all the pieces are in place. Red Sux have dominated the Angels in the playoffs in the past, however, the Angel$ are winners of 8 of 9 during the regular season and come into this series completely healthy, with the Red Sux coming with injuries to Beckett and Lowell. Bottomline, let's cash in big with the Halos and ride em all the way to the SERIES. Hop on the board the Angels train!!!!!!

I don't know how you can possibly say "all the pieces are in place" given the near 60 games they played against triple-a fodder in division rivals Seattle, Oakland and Texas.

Real clever usage on the word "Sox" though. Changing the "o" to a "u" and making it sound like "Red Sucks" is just so darn creative.. keep up the good work, ass clown.

why would Scioscia choose the game-off-game-off format given the depth that team has in the starting rotation?

I understand trying to turn the game into a 5-6 inning affair with Shields and K-Rod pitching 3 innings combined each game, but the Red Sox bullpen is equally as good.

With Beckett reeling, I'd have chosen the four pitcher format that would have seen the Red Sox choose between either Tim Wakefield or Paul Byrd starting game four.

East Coasters are in serious panic mode. They are facing a Playoffs with No New York Teams, and a Boston Team that will be ousted first round. The Angels crushed Boston during the regular season, and they will quickly take care of business in the ALDS. The Angels will sweep this series. There is not a doubt in my mind. The Angels want it more, and it shows. Boston has owned us in the playoffs, but this year the Angels will get it done. :toast:
