Why should anyone care if they were accurate or not? They did their job in slowing the toll of suffering, loss of quality of life, ill health (long & short term) & deaths to young & old. Be thankful if you, your friends or loved ones were not of the unlucky ones.

Golf courses are still closed here. All
bars and gyms are closed, all restaurants are closed except takeouts. Not even close to business as usual in PA...

Not in CT either, seemingly trending away from normal

A favorite breakfast counter of mine has packed it in at least until these closures pass. Wasn't doing enough takeout breakfast I suppose

Sheepdeepthroater/stock...one in the same, in posting feverishly. Must be dominated once again haha.

Cockroaches in the darkness scattering when the lights come on.

Your grasp on the ignore feature is somewhat questionable. If you’re going to continuously post in reference to posts on the many posters that you have on ignore you’re missing the point.

He has us on ignore so he doesn’t have a emotional meltdown. He takes this stuff very personal.

The Canadian PM said things won't be going back to "normal" (as it was pre-COVID-19) there until after there is a vaccine. Which possibly may be never.

And you think that's rational?

Why wouldn't it be? I'd go even further; some things may not go back to "normal" even after there is a vaccine. Handshaking, for example, could conceivably never be in vogue again. Or the custom in some circles, in certain countries & or cultures, to greet people with kisses on the face. Or the smooching of religious statues, icons, etc. Who knows what will be "normal" in the post COVID-19 vaccine era, if it ever arrives. Businesses, to use another example, may conduct themselves quite differently in various ways.

because it's actually FUCKING STUPID to say things will never be normal again

and wrong

and time will do it's thing, but you won't remember any of this, you'll be on to the next line of bullshit

Imagine if we didn't have all the look leeches here to save us, how would we survive

Willie: what I correctly predicted was that all the worse numbers being thrown out there won't be remotely accurate.

X-Files: Why should anyone care if they were accurate or not? They did their job in slowing the toll of suffering, loss of quality of life, ill health (long & short term) & deaths to young & old. Be thankful if you, your friends or loved ones were not of the unlucky ones.

The truth is some "truths" (e.g. regarding how many angels can sit on a pinhead) just don't "matter". And if the particular truth you've chosen to make such a big deal about (of your statement above) mattered, you should have at least been able to offer an explanation why you think that is the case, but you didn't.

Railing on an argument, like an ad hominen attack, adds nothing of substance or reason to a discussion.

Neither does it address any of the points i made.

Better to say nothing at all.

"Ad hominem (Latin for "to the person"), short for argumentum ad hominem, is a term is applied to several different types of arguments, most of which are fallacious. Typically it refers to a fallacious argumentative strategy whereby genuine discussion of the topic at hand is avoided by instead attacking the character, motive, or other attribute of the person making the argument, or persons associated with the argument, rather than attacking the substance of the argument itself."

Why do the world's biggest liars always say this repeatedly? Trying to convince us or themselves?
