I figured I'd let you get done before chiming in. That's interesting that the Niners are that much. Before Jimmy G coming to town, you literally couldn't give the tickets away. People were trying to sell their PSLs and were only getting 25-50%. People were turning down free tickets. I stopped going to NFL games years ago. NFL Sunday Ticket rules and much more enjoyable to me.

I got 50% for my PSL, and that was to a friend
I totally agree that you are better off home. Most of the time the draw was the tailgating, but those days are over for me. lol
I ain't getting up 7AM on a Sunday to get there by 9AM to party hard and eat all that stuff that early in the morning :)

I was a Season ticket holder up until the JETS started with the PSL
why should I pay to buy Tickets ... Plus the best seat in the house, is in Your House.

I don't understand how people can really afford it now a days, I know you can buy them for your business or corp, but the avg fan, it's crazy

A PSL is an investment.
Every single PSL has gone up in value.

If the day comes you dont want season tickets anymore you can always sell your PSL for much more then you paid for it.
Its not like its a one time thing that loses value after the season ends like season tickets.

Give an example of season ticket holding vs PSL buying for comparable seats.

My guess is whatever gain you get in the PSL going up is just offset by a premium to buy. Not much different than buying -EV insurance.

But I could be wrong.

Well maybe for bad teams.

I guess i should not have said all teams but generally speaking as long as people like football its a pretty safe investment.

Right there with you on that one. I used to leave at 10am and pick up a buddy. Then it was off to the stadium, where we parked about a mile away (I wasn't going to sit in that parking lot when the game was over....got out faster by doing this). We walk to the entrance through all the trash and urine smell. Then get frisked to get into the stadium. Usually got home around 630 or 7 for a pretty crappy experience overall. Got the NFL Sunday Ticket and was loving life. Had a nice breakfast during the first games, and got to see all the games instead of constantly looking at the phone for updates. All that for roughly 1/3 of what I was paying for my ticket.

lmao. no choptalk. st louis fans would like to talk with u.

Maybe Chargers fans also.

I know with the Raiders, they couldn't sell enough tickets so part way through the program, they just let people start buying season tickets without buying the PSL (total BS). And anyone that paid for their PSL were just basically out of luck because they weren't refunding them. It was very easy to get tickets and you were actually quite foolish even buying season tickets.

Losing investment for JETS fans. lol

I don't go to many Patriot home games, only when they open the season on Thursday night

Always go to the Jets game in NY, cheap tickets

I'm disappointed to see Titan games so damn expensive, that's our road trip this year

Going to an NFL game sucks for the most part imo. 10 mins of action in 3 hrs.

But people do it and they aren't stopping anytime soon. Why it is so expensive.

Another thing is season ticket holders have to purchase 2 preseason games which is basically lighting money on fire. But people do it.
I went yesterday for the first time in a while, but I didn't have to pay for the ticket, and we had good seats.
But I agree, over priced everything and the viewing experience sucks compared to home.

I can't think of a reason why I would spend money to go through that again.

Price for a beer: $5
Price for a soft drink: $3
Price for a hot dog: $6

The New York Giants — along with the Jets — play in MetLife Stadium in neighboring New Jersey. Led by quarterback Eli Manning, the Giants scored upset victories in Super Bowl XLII and Super Bowl XLVI against the Patriots. In the 2017 NFL season, though, the Giants finished 3-13, which put them in fourth place in the NFC East division. Although they share a stadium, the Giants are the more valuable team.

You get into the Chargers at Raiders game for $28 before fees on StubHub. Colts at Jaguars for $21. Probably less than that if you buy outside the stadium. Sure the Raiders suck right now but you get to see a Chargers team that has a chance to make some noise in the playoffs.

Bills game last week:

Hot dog $9
Pretzel $7.50

Didnt drink as they dont have enough washrooms. Mens washroom was lined up outside the door pregame lol.

Tickets were free, but priced at $106 l0wer bowl, corner endzone.

Wouldn't go back, even for free again. Also everyone stood the entire game as the seats in front of you are so close, you had no choice.

18. Indianapolis Colts Game at Lucas Oil Stadium: $425.50

<figure style="box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; color: rgb(51, 51, 51); font-family: "Segoe UI", "Segoe WP", Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px;"><figcaption style="box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;">Median ticket price: $185
Price for a beer: $7
Price for a soft drink: $5.50
Price for a hot dog: $5.25
Parking: $20
The Colts begin the 2018 NFL season playing the Bengals at Lucas Oil Stadium. The cheapest tickets available cost as little as $39 to $41 per ticket.
The Indianapolis Colts were constant Super Bowl contenders under star quarterback and top earner Peyton Manning. Disaster struck in the 2011 season when Manning was injured, and the Colts went a miserable 2-14. Since Manning’s departure from the franchise, the Colts made it to the NFL playoffs three seasons in a row — only to go on and miss them for another three, from 2015 to 2017.

Colts tickets are way cheaper this season
