When Derek Lee was out

Aramis Hit 266 and 276 with 10 HR's and 33 RBI's...

Pre-All Star break with D-Lee injured
He hit 259 with 16 HR's and 52 RBI's....

When D-Lee came back adn the Cubs were completely out of contention Aramis exploded in the second half.

Yeah ARAM did struggle just like David Wright was terrible the first month or so this season... The Cubs didnt have anyone else to help him last year with Lee being hurt. Now that a healthy Lee,Soriano,Derosa are in their to help out ARAM has been the Cubs best offensive player and has been the most clutch player. I wasnt trying to say hes equal to Wright or Cabrera but given his stats and his glove at 3rd you have to put him in the same class as both of those guys. Aramis can flat out hit the shit out of the ball and one great quality you get from him is his real low strikeout rate. He doesnt walk too much either but hes usually putting the ball in play.
