Shady might not be the right word, but as it is Illegal... or borderline legal, I just look at it differently. it's not the kid at the Counter screwing up.

i think that is silly.....so if you went to the casino and the dealer paid you by mistake, you would tell him by your reasoning?

when the dealer pays me, I NEVER say anything...you guys can call me a piece of shit if you want, but i dont care.....

No wouldn't tell the dealer either. I look at ALL gambling as being shady (again not the right word probably but don't really know what else to use).

Hell, I do a ton of things when no one is watching... I hope I'm not defined by that.

Mom said I might go blind, but she never said it'd inpune my character.

that is hilarious, I must have started this poll 2 years ago when my name was 'yakkers' before I asked General to change it to 'SportSavant'....

someone must have bumped it from the 'bowels' of the RX? :icon_conf

I have reported bad lines to Cascade, 5Dimes, VIP, WWTS, and Mansion. The first two thanked me and gave me something for my trouble. VIP said thanks but never changed the line. WWTS changed the line but did not acknowledge my deed. Mansion sent me an email thanking me.
Unquestionably the right thing to do is report it.

Darryl,

You will be shocked to find out how many truly belong to category D or better said those that try to be super honest in life. They are so honest that they even worry about how much tax one should pay being a gambler. And this is often a very difficult question to answer. Some of them worry about it so much that they forget in order to even be able to pay tax one has to make money in the first place!

Even if you don't "make money" in the sense of net profit, all gambling activity is supposed to be reported. And I am curious how many of these folks on the high moral ground here that would notify a bookmaker of an error somehow justify not declaring their gambling activity on there taxes. If they won't cheat and lie to a bookie, I can only assume they are not cheating and lying to Uncle Sam and all the honest taxpayers out there.
