I know that it is 8 or better, but how could you not raise max on the pocket aces??

You have to get that isolated I think.


I will guarantee you that in a live 8 or better tournament, that you have to raise pot AND reraise pot preflop as many times as they call it

with the stack sizes it was as good as isolated. the SB folds if he doesnt hit the flop and the other guy calls any bet i make with any cards he has. he'd played every hand and split or won em all. as far as having the K YEA I KNEW it but that dont mean he needed it to call me...he woulda done it holding any pocket pr. i was way ahead of his range just way behing his actual hand...again!

Well I just made the money in my o8 tourny, how I keep doing that I am not sure, time to find a hand and push though

I am watching. I cant heckle the competition though since I dont have $55 in my account.

With the small stacks, any raise of 5x the blinds will probably get a fold. And even if you lose that 5x chips, it wont really hurt you very much.


3000 chip loss wont affect you very much right now. You will be investing those chips for later when you win them back

Make sure to show a bluff or two as well so later you WILL get called when you get a high pocket pair.
