Jesus, so much for that. I'm out. Cashed in both but feel like shit, could have made a decent run. Frustrating way to make 30$, lol.

in case anyone was wondering, I raised to 4 because I wanted at least 1 caller, wanted to make it look like I was really strong and giving them a discount. Any flop I was moving in, getting low on chips and wanted to make a move, but wanted a flop out their so I didnt get instant called pre

u played it damn good, nothing u can do when the worst hand wins.

i would like to see wat u had in that hand where u folded after the flop of JxJ 2 spades.....

A266 suited, no spades.

Figured I was toast on the high and needed miracle low for half. Better to take the 9k and try to build.

I do think I misplayed it, I should have totally been committed on the first raise. But he was a big stack who had turned over a lot in the past, knew I had very little shot at winning.

But in hindsight, with 50k in the pot I should have been prepared to go out right there, even if just playing for runner-runner half the pot.

Sigh. I definitely see too many hands in O8, but in the past that is how I've made the deep runs.

I'm pissed I fucked up that hand though, really was tortured by that flop and how much was already in. :ohno:

Its not holdem u should see a lot more hands when u got the goods, 1 of the experts over at 2+2 seems to think that around 35-40% is not undoable for someone who reads hands well ..

I dont remember that hand exactly but i seem to remember thinking at the time that you were calling after a big raise and a call in frt of you. If that was the case i would want a hand that i could reraise with or id fold. After the flop you were going to b committed, u had 9K but that was really short.
Everybody has their own style but i hate limping or coldcalling when the blinds get big.
Then again i saw u win a few nice hands after limping so you must know what ur doing...

Yeah, I tend to limp a bit too much...

That particular hand I just really lost it when I saw that flop, should have just done the math, especially with the big stack in there. I really screwed that up. I've never been so angry at a cash before.

I expect a better showing tonight! heh.

I can agree with around 20-30%. I think seeing more flops if you have the stack is important to make a good push.

Also, reading the better, low vs. high, positional play is much more important in O8 vs. holdem. Betting a missed low on the end when you put the other guy on the low draw as well can be very profitable if you have the bigger stack, without much risk.

I should run my stats...

Anyway, tryin to make a run right now, have 8k, 45th place.
