I not received an email from Pinnacle, but then I logged in before noon EST and had to change my password, which took me about 10 seconds after verifying that the web page I was viewing was not a spoof to which I had been redirected.
From reading this thread it appears that at some point today all accounts that did not have a new password were locked out and emails sent with temporary passwords.
My interpretation is that Pinnacle had some security threat that they took seriously enough to immediately implement a wholesale change of passwords for all their accounts. Their cover story does not hold water but then security will never disclose the nature of the perceived risk.
