Well according to chop, Brady will be playing elsewhere this upcoming season so I'm skeptical about anything he says. Still wondering what happened to his Saints will make playoffs prediction.Mob is still bitter she lost her SB guarantee that Pats would lose.

I never said that.
All I said was Jimmy G is not going anywhere.
And guess what?

Hes not going anywhere. Despite the fact that just about everyone on Earth besides me said he was leaving

I'm not looking forward to the day they fall back into the field, like UConn hoops which is killing me in recent years. I'm like that's not the style of play I fell in love with

[h=1]MALCOLM BUTLER VISITING SAINTS THURSDAY TO REPORTEDLY TALK LONG-TERM CONTRACT, THEN TRADE POSSIBLE[/h]03.14.17 at 11:35 am ET

Malcolm Butler is visiting the Saints on Thursday. (James Lang/USA Today Sports)
The Saints’ interest in Malcolm Butler is real.
New Orleans coach Sean Payton told the Associated Press Butler is visiting with the team on Thursday.
Last week it was rumored Butler could be part of a trade involving Brandin Cooks, but he was not included in Friday’s trade.
Butler is a restricted free agent meaning any team that wants him would need to give up a first-round pick given that is the tender the Patriots placed on him, and they would also need to make it a pretty big offer sheet because the Patriots would have the right to match.
It is also possible the Saints and Patriots could work out another trade, one that includes Butler. Keep in mind, the Patriots do not have a first or second-round pick.
This seems like the route which will be taken, as NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport reports the Saints and Butler will talk about a long-term deal, and then the Patriots and Saints will try and work out a trade.
The Saints are desperate for help on defense and Butler could be a player to build the defense around.

I thought Butler was a keeper, I guess Bill thinks he can coach anybody up. I will say many of the Patriots' stars that leave don't look much like stars after they leave.

It's also true that they often times make average players elsewhere look great after they're acquired.

Wes Welker is an example of both of the above cases

But I still don't want to lose Butler, or Hightower

My impression is that Butler wants too much money. If the Saints are able to work out a deal with Butler, I wonder what they'll have to give back?

I'm a Twins fan in baseball, and I'm pretty tired of them always trading my favorite players. In a strange sort of way, the Patriots do the same thing.

Some Boston radio people think NE will get their 32 1st round back, it will be interesting to see for sure

Butler is a good cb but he isn't a shut down corner. If he gets dealt to Saints he will end up being a bust, just like every other defensive player to go to New Orleans. Saints are a bad team.

Think Hightower ends up resigning with Pats in the next 7-10 days unless another team throws ridiculous money at him.
