The 10 beers in 30 minutes has nothing to do with tolerance, it's all about whether you can fit that much into your stomach, since you won't even be drunk at the end of the 30 minutes unless you're a real lightweight.

Could be some truth to that. That may be why I struggled putting the last few down in high school.

Certainly you get completely wasted after a while, I was only saying that if you down 10 beers in 30 minutes there won't be enough time for all the alcohol to filter into your system. When I drank 6 beers in 5 minutes I didn't feel anything, and kept drinking some more after that. About two hours later I was passed out in some bushes outside my friend's apartment. :drink:

go ahead and try it. it's hard to drink 72 ounces of anything in 5 minutes, beer or otherwise.

If you have an empty stomach the beer will start to move into your system during a thirty minute period, allowing more room to open up. I would put the difficulty levels at about the same for the two "accomplishments".

I would as well. Was briefly thinking it was 12 beers and thirty but it is only ten.

I'll bet you you can't finish a 6 pack drinking one shot glass full of beer every minute. In other words, when ever a minute passes you must take one shot of beer. Any takers?

Bottom line is you won't be able to finish the 6 pack without throwing up! Try it some time.

200 minutes is 3:20. 200 shots of beer is 25 beers. If you can do this without puking I will give you 10k. If you lose I get 2k. There is no way.

This is sounding more and more like a trap with the legalities and other factors. Would have to make a contract and have it signed so as there is no confusion in the event of random happenings that previously went undiscussed. Still have to write down all ideas, comments, questions and suggestions and get everything sorted out, but itching to get this thing underway ASAP!

Sounds like a good promo for the Western hotel 9th and Fremont.

You go in put $20 on the bar ( in pennies), you get 30 minutes to drink 10 beers, fail the bar keeps the $20, suceed, you get the beer free ( keep the money).

They'd be giving away a lot of beer.

I did have to puke around the 150 mark, not because of the alcohol but just because of all the liquid. then I rallied and got to 200.

the 100 is an absolute cinch though, and 200 without puking would definitely be possible with some more training.

Is it some issue in the use of a shot glass ( maybe swallowing air) because 100 oz of beer ( just over 8 beers) in 1 hour 40 minutes isn't hard to do. Call it 9 beers in an hour and half, I could do that, never tried it in shots, though.
