The July 28 show has him discussing a bit his ongoing mediation with soon to be ex-wife Maria.

He says he has no heat with her and that they're using a mediator because it's a lot cheaper than attorneys.

Says they've been separated since June of 2006, which happens to be when the old PHS ended.

Rumor has it that Bubba The Love Sponge is leaving Sirius XM Radio Inc. in January, and that an announcement of his status at the company could be coming as early as Monday morning.

Orbitcast has learned that Bubba will be departing the world of Satellite Radio for a terrestrial syndication deal with Cox Broadcasting, according to people familiar with the matter. Bubba The Love Sponge is said to be adding 96.5 WHTQ in Orlando and 93 Rock in Miami to his roster of syndicated stations, these people said.

As to who will be replacing Bubba? Sources told Orbitcast that Neil Rogers and Phil Hendrie have been named as possible replacements on the Howard 101 channel.

Additionally, FMQB is reporting that an announcement about Bubba's status at Sirius XM could be coming as early as Monday morning.

Upon further inquiry, Orbitcast has confirmed with Bubba's representatives that a Monday announcement is indeed true, though details of the exact nature of the announcement remain unknown. "We are not responding to rumors about its subject," a representative for Bubba said.

Stay tuned...

Good riddance to bubba and that SOB punk Brent...I doubt Phil goes with Siruis, unless they let him keep what he's got now and just add them to it.. XM and Sirius both talked to him before and low balled him and i think he's bitter about it. They cant afford to pay anybody and they sure wont lure him in with stock options....

Bubba and his crew - including Brent H - are the best radio in Florida.

They're not being dumped, but rather they are simply quitting the satellite show because with the new syndication deal they'll be making far more money and no longer will need to do two shows (ota and satellite) a day.

That sucks if it's true. Although I have Sirius XM for Howard, I've grown to enjoy Bubba tremendously and would think that they (SIRI) will suffer further if they lose him.

I will wait to listen to him if he comes to Howard 101 to replace Bubba (which I hope doesn't turn out to be true).

Buster--Enjoy:toast:

oh please please please...that would be awesome. I have listened to Neil Rodgers for ages. Don't know how his shtick would play out nationally but Phil Hendrie would be awesome. He is absolutely the most talented radio personality. I thought the new Phil was political and he is not doing the characters anymore. I still listen to my best of Phil cd's. As mentioned on here All you can eat negro is epic

LOL....I think I'm going to plug into that site and start listening again

I have been using my laptop for past year or so to run clips off of PHS website (since it saves resources for me to work at same time using desktop) and had progressed all the way into Jan 2001. But then the laptop got fritzy so I have not listened in a month.

Though it looks like in just a few more days they'll be to the end of 2006 and that would mean either recyling back to beginning or what?

Stay tuned

Chris Norton is The Man.

His best appearances do require a higher level of outraged female to call in.

And the heavy breathing while they talk rocks steady
