i liked the bomb going off, i wasnt expecting that...the killing of curtis was just retarded....they pulled that stunt back in season 3or4 with chapelle and it was intense back then....no need to go over it again...

they are getting back into some of the guys from last year with next weeks preview which is pretty cool....

the killing of curtis really really bothered me, i dont see the meaning behind it other than the writers trying to keep things edgy....dont agree with it...

the fact that curtis couldnt handle the situation being as strong as a person as he was over the previous years made me think he was gonna back down and not be killed...personally didnt expect that myself!

wow, that was ridiculous, i expected the bomb to go off (they have to continually try to top themselves, and that's about the only thing left), but I didn't think they'd have jack off a guy he obviously liked.

Totally agree that the whole Jack killing Curtis thing was stupid. There was a little "foreshadowing" that caught my attention early on. When Bill Buchanan was handcuffing Jack to the drainge grate, Curtis was right there but didn't even bother to say goodbye to Jack. They really never went into the Curtis character that deep from what I can remember over the past few seasons. Kinda of a shame that he is gone. He was one of those "grunt" characters who always just took care of business.

They had to make room for the re-aperance of CHASE(kims husband) from season 3.

Chase will take over curtis role in a few shows.

sorry i absolutely loved that shit....you guys get too involved with the writing end of it, main characters, drawing from real life experiences, climax, build-up, resolution, etc

never expected jack to pop curtis in the neck that was fuckin sweet, and then the bomb going off....ha

i love this show...you fellas gotta kick your feet up, relax, and enjoy

I thought the "shocker" was that Jack was all of a sudden going to start talking in Chinese to a handler on a cellphoe---that he was turned into a "mole" by 20 months of brainwash and torture :puppy:

Wayne can't give in fast enough. Kiefer's still working with Assad to find Fayed, and convinces Assad to let him bring CTU into the loop, although Curtis is quite unhappy about working with Assad. Ahmed takes Scott's whole family hostage, and when it turns out that his leg wound is going to prevent him from running his errand of terror (or his "terrand," as I like to call it), he sends Dad instead, keeping the others as leverage. Except the guy with the vital item jacks up the price, forcing Dad to kill him for it. Tension continues to rise between Milo and Morris at CTU, with Chloe attempting to mediate, which is totally through-the-looking-glass. Sandra Palmer and her boss/boyfriend Walid end up at one of Tom's "detention facilities," but since Sandra's the President's sister, she gets cut loose while Walid continues to be held and ends up in even deeper trouble than before. Disbar her ass, now. Assad, Kiefer, and Curtis track one of Fayed's men to a self-storage facility, but he blows the place up -- and himself -- rather than be arrested. But there's enough evidence left in the charred remains to tell them that one of the prisoners currently being freed at Fayed's orders is not only a terrorist but also a nuclear scientist. Who, as they speak, escapes custody, presumably to rendezvous with Fayed and his recently acquired atomic bomb. Yeah, like that threat's ever going to pay off.

CTU's search for Fayed and his suitcase nuke is at a dead end, until Ahmed releases Scott's mom and she calls the cops. Word of Ahmed and his connection to Fayed quickly reaches Kiefer, and he leads his team over to Scott's place to rescue the kid and follow their only existing lead. While they're en route, Wayne offers Assad full amnesty in exchange for his continued co-operation, as Curtis gets more and more bitter about Assad's involvement. While still in detention, Walid gets wind of a possible clue in the terror plot, and decides to stay behind bars to gather more information. Brilliant of him, really. We learn why Morris and Milo can't get along: Milo dated Chloe a few times. Ick. Can we move on now? After CTU rescues Scott from Ahmed, Scott provides them with address where Ahmed sent Dad. An entirely different CTU team is sent to Fayed's HQ, for reasons that will become apparent. When Curtis hears that Assad's been given a full pardon, he goes completely off the rails. It turns out that Assad killed a bunch of Curtis's men during the first Gulf War, which explains Curtis's personal vendetta against the man. Things come to a head, and in order to save Assad's life, Kiefer is forced to kill Curtis. Bummer. Dude survived fifty-one episodes longer than I thought he would, though. Kiefer pukes, cries, and quits. Moments later, the other CTU team moves in on Fayed's HQ in Valencia. Fayed's not there any more, but the suitcase nuke is, and get this: Fayed's man detonates the ******. So where is the season going to go from here, with a small mushroom cloud already rising over Los Angeles? Believe it or not, it has to do with Walid's clue: there are four more suitcase nukes still out there.

I could have swore I saw him in the extended trailor that was floating around the internet a few months ago.

Maybe MAXDEMO can confirm this.

On another thread, someone mentioned a podcast about contract negotiations for James Badge Dale and C. Thomas Howell. That seems to indicate, if true, that Chase, Kim, and Barry will be back. Not sure how I feel about that, but there you are.
