Pulling the gun was not a good decision but he did put it back very quickly. Guys like Guesser have tunnel vision. The pool is owned and operated by the Home Owners Association and is not open to the public. Had they just left as was requested things would have gone more smoothly. Guesser says he takes each situation as it comes. He says the officer was wrong but has not said that the party goers were wrong and the cause of the whole affair. What I'm wondering is what the girl and the two guys were doing right before the tape comes on. As you can see, when he has her down, the two guys are moving closer to the cop. If one of those guys says "if you don't get off her, I'm going to kill you" is him pulling out his gun justified? Guess we'll never know.

He wrestled her to the ground(tackled), kneed her in the back, and sat on her. All of that happened. ANY one of those actions was disgraceful and inappropriate and cause for punishment. You and I have a very different understanding of what tackled and wrestling to the ground is. Bobby Wagner tackles and wrestles people to the ground. That's not what he did. He did not hit her.

And, you're wrong and any cop would tell you you're wrong. You don't need a woman to pose a threat or attack you to arrest her. If she is not compliant with a direct order (such as you're breaking up a bar fight etc. and she won't leave the scene) she may be arrested. Serving an arrest warrant would lead a cop to arrest a woman. Many things.

I have heard that one of those guys reached towards his belt and that could have been why the cop pulled the gun. He had been there longer than any of the other cops and was probably at the end of his rope. Again if the group would have left when directed to do so by that same cop none of this would have transpired.
