I agree with ya GD, just saying that it looked like THEY were the ones taking the shot...by taking action before and AFTER the ticket criteria change, then cancelling all after they were not happy with the outcome.

In my eyes, when they take a wager and specify the criteria for a winning or losing wager...Then something changes, and they change the wager for future bettors WITHOUT cancelling previous action - that means to me that the previous action stands.

Does that make sense to ya guys?

Appreciate the response Wil, just want to know if I'm out of my mind...

My question is if it was common knowledge or announced that it was going to be 10 minutes. I'm sure we all heard rumors but I did not see anything confirmed as fact to that effect.
I'm guessing on their part they were not sure as well the time length or they would have just cancelled the original wagers and put up a new 10 minute line.
I doubt the book is happy since, and correct me if I got this wrong, they refunded every wager on the contest that they took and had no action at all.

I think it would be fair to say that if they graded any over wagers as a loss that would be unethical. I'm sure the majority of wagers were on the under, but curious if anyone had the over and what happened to their wager.

I did email them, just curious what they say. And as far as I know, maybe they did grade the "over" wagers (placed before the 12 min stipulation) as losers ? How am I to know??

Obviously they took more under action, based on how the line moved, EVEN after the 12 minute stipulation was put on there. I think they just didn't want to take the hits and cancelled both the valid wagers and the obvious cancels of those with the 12 min stipulation....

If anyone had the over before they added the 12 min requirement (about a week ago) please step forward....

Unlikely, and yes it would be unethical, but how am I to know?

And here is their response:

Greetings ,

The wagers on the hot dog contest where voided due to a last minute change from 12 minutes to 10 minutes on the contest. If you wish to contact the wagering department to discuss this issue further, you can contact them at 1-800-442-0151.

Best regards

...This does not explain why they a week ago they added the 12 min rule on future bets, and did not cancel the existing at that time. Sigh.
