Just started getting into online poker. Not very knowledgeable on it. Just hope to play even for a few months while learning.
I play at Bodog.
Learn to multi table. 1 table at a time is a killer for me, boring. Still need to win though so don't multi table unless you can. Weekend crowd is alot different (IMO), they seem to be alot more loose. You need to play tight and when you have a strong hand be aggressive. This is how I have been able to hold my own. Look into poker tracker for software, I hear it is a must if you want to be a winning player.

Hey pyro, I currently play at FT, nice with the rakeback (be sure to sign up with the rakeback before you sign up at any site.
Pizza man has the poker tracker for cheap, I am trying it out now, love how you can see exactly what hands have done what for you (take a guess which hand has lost me the most money).
Book wise, their are alot of good ones out their now. I personally like the harrington books (although they are geared toward tournys). Most books published by 2+2 are usually pretty good.

Okay it looks like I am better off going with Full Tilt then since it appears rake is a big deal.
Probably not going to deposit any $ until about Tuesday or Wednesday of this week as I want to play in a couple freerolls to get used to the software and flow of online poker which I really haven't played too much (only 5 or 6 hands at Bodog like I said).
Any way I can help anyone out by using them as a reference or something to get anyone extra $ or %, let me know...
Also, do i have to deposit immediately to get the rake, or can i just sign up with the rake tonight and then deposit mid week?
