undoubtedly that kid's parents are crack addicts or alcoholics.

Eric Rivera's father, also Eric Rivera, is president of the Greater Fort Myers Junior Football Association. The association's Web site boasts of NFL stars who come from the area.

"That's my son," the father said Friday night. "This isn't a good time to talk right now."

crack ok, but what is your problem with those of us who like to consume alcohol?

Crack is a tad bit different than alcohol in my opinion.......

He did not have a gun cause he was on probation and had to turn them in.

My feeling is even people on probation should be allowed to have any firearms they want in their own home.

Sean

I totally agree. People without firearms are targets of crimes. The gun laws in this country are flat out sickning, and it is getting innocent people killed.

As for the kids parents - Obviously they didn't do a great job, but the "culture" is getting out of hand. If the kids knew that their "culture" isn't really theres, but rather is manipulated by abunch of elitists who want this type of behavior exactly to happen - then obviously this wouldn't go on.

Wake up black america - You are being duped :ohno:

I dont have one now, but when im in a big house with my family and have valuable items inside I will know my house is a target for this kind of incident. I will definitely have a gun at my bedside absolutely. You can never be too safe

bingo, why is this so hard to comprehend , thanks MF

For the last time, nobody cut the damn phone lines. The house phone in the bedroom did not work and his gf had to use her cell phone. Battery on house phone was probably dead.

Second of all, only two of the guys entered the house and one of them shot Sean when he surprised them in the bedroom. The other guys claim they had no idea anyone was armed.

This was not a hit, this had nothing to do with Sean's past. If you go look at these fuckin clowns MY SPACE pages, they were all little thugs who probably just went out there to steal some shit from his place.

Hopefully never. That being said, it is essential for family security. As I stated earlier - if Sean Taylor had a shotgun to defend himself there is a very high probablity that he wouldn't be the victim.

I'd hope no one would want to use a gun to take another persons life. However, with so many people in our current society who not only don't value human life, but embrace the guns and violence culture, having a firearm to protect yourself is essential.

I was wrong I will admit to that. I realy did think it was a hit.

Now on to the guns stuff. Maybe if he wasn't a scumball and got into trouble and showed he could not control himself he would have had the right to protect himself.

People just never think of what thier actions will effect them in the future. This is a lesson to all the people that want to have a right to a gun. Show that you are in control of yourself and it will not be taken away. So in the end his own actions from the past caused this to happen the way it did. He would of had a better chance than having a knife in a gun fight.

What do you mean you know for sure - I'm calling bullshit - I'm almost certain he's has never met his biological father - and most likely - the actual biological father is not 100% known - there's probably a handful of potentials out there - it's a never ending cycle with these people - he'll die behind bars - at least that's somewhat comforting - and the critical point is - he can't reproduce - that's the real benefit to society.
