OK... I am finally saying it...Vin Scully SUCKS

Of course this is all subjective but I notice that most of the people saying he is the best are from the west coast. Every home town announcer is the favorite because that's what you're used to hearing. People here (Cleveland) say Tom Hamilton is the best and Joe Tait for baskets. But I do not like Hamilton at all. Tait was good imo. Many of these guys are so obviously contrived as they try to come up with their catch phrases. That's what bugs me. I can see what some of you are saying about Vin as he does seem to go over the top at times.

He's not for everybody, but for those who grew up with him, he's nostalgic.

Exactly how I feel. Listening to him do a game brings good feelings every time. Like a bowl of soup and warm bread on a rainy day. Will be really sad when he quits or dies. Until then listen every time I can.
