Anyone hear about this?
I know the vast majority of Americans make nowhere near that kind of money, but how is it moral to go to someone like LeBron making $40 million a year and tax 70% of what he makes after the $10 million? So that's around $21 million in taxes in that $30 million alone?
How do you morally justify that? People who make that kind of money are generally pretty charitable as is. Why would they give such a large proportion of what they earned and have no control over how it's distributed, when they have so much power to positively impact people directly at their choice?
