While critics will certainly quibble with one or more of this list as not being due to Obama's presidency, it nonetheless forms a reasonably coherent response to hysterical suggestions that the past ten months have been "the worst in U.S. history".

As someone who confidently voted for Barack Obama last November, I remain very interested to see what the next 30 months holds as we head into late summer 2012.

It seems as reasonable as declaring in month ten (or for most critics - on Day Ten) that the current Presidency is "the worst in U.S. history".

As for your imaginary analogy, I suggest that measures up, but make sure and clean up after yourself.

In the meantime, I'll shut my eyes and imagine Sarah TQ standing face to face and discussing important U.S. foreign policies with the heads of state in all the countries where Barack Obama has so far visited.
