This is a stretch. Beck is talented but also very error-prone

Ohio State was definitely the best team in the end
You must not remember the game.

It was a close one and Gunner committed some bad, green mistakes that made the difference, one gave OSU the ball in the red zone right before half time.

Beck was going to be a first round draft choice, by the way, his bad injury led him to decide to take $4M from Miami to play another college season and be with his super star girlfriend this season.

He sure was. My HS and college number was 51.
I met him a few times. Quiet but a great guy.
He was tuff the players of today are soft and men like Butkus would break them into. My hero as a kid was Joe Schmidt. Where did you play college ball at.

Are you talking about Notre Dame?

Ohio State and Georgia didn't play

Ohio State played a pretty lousy game against Notre Dame and still won pretty comfortably, for comparison. Buckeyes were on a mission, won every game by double-digits. Including against two SEC teams

Beck was overyhyped in the context of the draft IMO he's very error-prone and won't be a good pro

Next years schedule will help them…

The Fighting Irish's complete 2026 schedule is pretty embarrassing:

  • vs. Wisconsin
  • vs. Rice
  • vs. Michigan State
  • at Purdue
  • at UNC
  • vs. Navy
  • vs. Miami
  • vs. Boston College
  • vs. SMU
  • at Syracuse
  • vs. Stanford
  • vs. USC
If they don't go 12-0 they shouldn't get in the playoffs next year! Hahaha
