[FONT=Verdana,Tahoma,Arial,Calibri,Geneva,sans-serif]Attorney General William Barr testified in front of Congress for a second straight day
on Wednesday and again made news about the Russia investigation. This time, testifying
before a Senate Appropriations subcommittee, the attorney general made headlines for
comments suggesting he would investigate the president’s political adversaries.

“I am going to be reviewing both the genesis and the conduct of intelligence activities
directed at the Trump campaign during 2016,” Barr said. “One of the things I want to do
is pull together all of the information from the various investigations that have gone
on including on the Hill and in the Department and see if there are any remaining
questions to be addressed.”

We shall see if he's a man of his word.

Maybe this what Barr was refering to.

WASHINGTON — It began with Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., chairman of the Senate
Judiciary Committee, reading from text messages between high-ranking FBI officials
Peter Strzok and Lisa Page.

“Trump is a f***ing idiot,” Graham quoted from a Strzok text.

Graham’s comments came in the context of a discussion about Clinton’s use of a private
email server during her time as secretary of state. The Strzok-Page communications were
revealed in the context of that investigation, which resulted in no charges.

“When the Mueller report is put to bed, and it soon will be, this committee is gonna look
long and hard at how this all started,” Graham warned.

Now I don't expect Graham to do jack shit, I've seen his act many times before, but maybe
Barr will. Or not.

last few months , Graham has been a lot more vocal about a lot of these things. Gone out on the limb and said he's going to investigate.. I've seen enough chane in Graham to think he will get to the bottom of this..

I don't see it but I hope you're right. If he does it will be a first.

[FONT=Verdana,Tahoma,Arial,Calibri,Geneva,sans-serif]Yeah he was passionate at the Kavanaugh hearings, so what? Although I didn't watch
him defend Barr I'm sure he was just as passionate. Being passionate when he speaks
doesn't necessarily mean he'll follow through.

There is enough evidance to indict all the usual suspects right now. Barr could put
together a case on everyone from Strzok right up to Obama if he was so inclined.

I'm giving Barr the benefit of the doubt. I'll wait and see what transpires over the
next 6 months. Meanwhile Graham can continue to impress everyone with his passion.

:):)[FONT=Verdana,Tahoma,Arial,Calibri,Geneva,sans-serif]Barr for all intents and purposes just told the House to stick it.

The Justice Department on Wednesday informed the House Judiciary Committee that
Attorney General William Barr would decline to testify before the panel on Thursday
amid disagreements over the hearing's format, according to a committee aide. [FONT=Verdana,Tahoma,Arial,Calibri,Geneva,sans-serif]

It's beyond disgusting how Democrats have criminalized politics going after this president. Is this the new norm? I hope Republicans do it 10x worse toward next Dem president right after inauguration day.

Since ignorance truly is bliss, maybe it's good to be a liberal. Kinda like going through life without your mind, can't be hurt by stuff you don't know and don't understand

Take Donger for example, he thinks Trump colluded with the Russians and it's not a good week to be the AG, so he's all happy and shit. Tomorrow his handlers will tell him what to think, and he'll be happy all over again
:hahahahah

A final kick to the teeth of lying poseur "Danang Dick" Blumenthal leaves him slack-jawed & drooling as AG Barr ends a tour de force testimony beating back bad takes, bad logic & bad intentions from Dems.

Poseur: Can we have those notes?
Barr: No
Poseur: Why?
Barr: Why should you?

Barr is starting to become my new hero. He politely rips off their head and shits down their neck.

On Friday’s broadcast of CNN’s “AC360,” House Judiciary Committee member Steve "The Colonel" Cohen (D-TN)
stated that if Attorney General William Barr doesn’t comply with the committee’s subpoenas, the committee
has “no other alternative” but to use the sergeant at arms to bring Barr to the House.

Cohen said, “I hope it would be inherent contempt. Because in inherent contempt, we’d go out, take him,
and bring him in, and have him personally brought to the House.”Host Anderson Cooper asked, “You actually
want to send out the sergeant at arms and force the attorney general to come?”

Cohen answered, “Yes. Because otherwise, it’s up to the Justice Department. The Justice Department is not
going to do anything to take a contempt citation from us, and enforce it against their boss. So, you’ve got
an impossible situation there, and it leaves us no other alternative except to use our sergeant at arms and
to bring him in.”

I'm sure 62 year old Paul Irving would be trilled to arrest 68 year old Bill Barr and drag him handcuffed to the House floor.

I was just fucking around when I suggested handcuffs. Silly me.

On Friday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Hardball,” Representative Jackie Speier (D-CA), a member
of the House Intelligence Committee and the House Oversight Committee said the House has
the power to “handcuff” someone who refuses to testify, and stated she’s “going to start
with Mr. Barr and bring him in.”
