I've never bet a game "Action" before. This rule at olympic always scared me.

"*Choosing an action bet (options 2, 3, or 4) might lead to an adjusted price if the starting pitcher does not start the game since the original price was based on the listed (advertised) pitcher starting the game."

Maybe i've been reading it wrong, but I always assumed that meant they could change odds I bet at after I bet. That seemed very dangerous to me.

Like if I take Yankees "Action" at +170, and Pedro is replaced with Gimpy McTripleAAA then do I get to keep my bet at +170? Can olympic arbitrarily change it? Should I just have a bullet put in my head for betting baseball at Olympic anyhow?

... ALWAYS choose LISTED.

If you want to bet this, do it at Intertops or Gamebookers. Their Action bets maintain their original odds if there is a pitching change.

My question is then why does DannyMay think he's "robbing the book" by betting action +170 on the yanks.

Won't the book just adjust it to for example -110 (or worse) if a different pitcher is used?

ACTION or LISTED PITCHERS.... either way, your bet will not stand the way you initially selected it..

Intertops maintains the original odds on their Action bets (actually Peep tipped me off to this some months back).

Gamebookers does not even mention the pitchers on their baseball bets. The odds do not get adjusted.
