I actually spoke with 70kgman about the play today. He says that this way of playing -1 often will give you better -1 lines, than just playing them straight as -1
As an example, use Pinnacle right now.
ML: -211
PL: +136
-1: -132
If you play PL for 38.45% and ML for 61.55%, you will get -1 for line -125 !
So you actually gain 7 cents on the -1 line. A great tool, I should start to use myself
If PIT wins with 2 you gain 81.5 with the double wager method, and 75.8 with the -1 line.
If PIT lose you will lose 100 in both cases.
If PIT wins by 1, you will win 23.12 in the double wager case, and break even in the -1 line!
So all in all, this is a great tool to great advantage.

He could also just have played -1 for 1u straight, but he thought he could get a better line this way, instead of waiting for the -1 line to come up.
Follow what i post. If i don't post stuff like 0.XX then it's always 1 unit. If i post in decimals, it would probably sum up to 1 unit as well

I know you aren't out to trick us nicolai! I was just being silly. The only thing I see different on his pick like that would be do we play those split picks to WIN 1u (typical of -xxx bets) or RISK 1u (typical of +xxx bets). The way it was explained it seems to fall on the risk side of betting.
Side note: looking like a good night tonight if the Oilers come through!
