No excuses about 28-3 and losing but it was against the best QB and the best coach. If anything I think that will fuel them this playoffs. If Wentz was playing this game I would be on Philly but I can't trust Foles at this point. If the wind is blowing, he doesn't have the arm strength to cut through the wind.

Fair enough, good response, but I can't take Atlanta on the road.......they're 3-6 ATS this year on the road.

You make like this......

"Overall, Vegas generally gets it right. The Eagles can certainly beat the Falcons on Saturday, but there's little question that Atlanta has an enormous advantage at quarterback, and recent home dog success (or lack thereof) does not bode well for Philly."

• Since 2000, home dogs are 11-15 straight up in the playoffs. Since 2003, they're 7-15. They're 1-7 since 2012.

• There has only been one other divisional round home dog since 2000, which makes sense, seeing as both home teams on divisional round weekend are either No. 1 or No. 2 seeds, and thus very good. That home dog was the 2011 49ers, who were the No. 2 seed that year. They beat the favored No. 3 seed Saints.

Couldn't have said it any better!

I think Philly is building a very good team for the future. I think this is the year where they get their feet wet and taste defeat in the playoffs but in the long run it will be a good learning experience for them.

Look at the young QB's who went far in the playoffs. Russell Wilson in Seattle (top defense), Big Ben 2nd year (top defense), Tom Brady 2nd year (top defense).

I am not sure I can back Philly at this point. The defense was bad against a lousy Giants team then the following week vs an Oakland team who had nothing to play for, they almost lost that game. Foles does not make defense respect the long pass down field.

On the otherhand, Atlanta's defense the last 2 games has looked like a top 5 defense to me. They are flying to the ball. Coach Quinn is an excellent coach and the Falcons are completely different in the playoffs under him than Mike Smith. I think Quinn is emerging as one of the best coaches in the NFL. Look what he did with Seattle and Seattle hasn't done anything without him.

Atlanta has a different mindset on defense and they are hungry to avenge last year's superbowl collapse. The Eagles are trending in the wrong direction.

I'm in agreement with you, no way i'm betting on Foles winning any playoff game especially not against a D just starting to look like a serious top 5-7 ranked D....Atl have the weapons to put Philly away here

I'm not betting on Foles to look like Mknatana, I'm betting on Philly's rested defense to crush Ryan & get the win while Foles manages the game, that 2 week bye will surprise everyone on how well Foles plays this game. Philly will lose in conf champ game.

The defense was used to playing with the lead and being able to attack the Qb but now with Foles we can't rely on that.

The Eagles defense is small and quick similar to Atlanta's, so I expect Atlanta to use Cole man more who can run with some power.

There is a possibility Jim Schwartz could get another head coaching job. Will he be as focused with the team.

Should be a good game either way, good luck!

Pats -13 vs Titans

Some trends:

Pats 5-1 ATS vs Titans

Belichick is 25-9 SU in playoffs life time.......at home Pats are 17-3 SU & 11-5-1 ATS

In the last 10 postseason games played at Foxboro, the Patriots are 9-1 SU and 7-3 ATS with six of the victories coming by double digits

yes but I wonder how many of those were playing with the back up QB....not saying they won't win i'm just saying i'd be a bit careful about relying on those stats in this situation

The computer Group, I don't think you can play 13 point teasers at Delaware. I will be there SAT. afternoon.

John, when do cards come out, I've only been down there like 7 or 8 times ever......I thought they had 13 pt teasers, I thought I played them there.

Maybe its a 10 pointer but I swear its more than that, or maybe I'm wrong

Got this online for Delaware sports betting:

All wagers must involve at least three separate games. NFL games only.

Regular season:

Half-point parlays

Teasers (6 points)

Super Teasers (10 points)

Reverse Teasers (-7 points)

$100,000 Parlay Card

Future book wagering

Postseason:

Half-point parlays

Teasers (6 points)

Reverse Teasers (-7 points)

Playoff Special cards

Future book wagering

If this is all I can get on a teaser is 7 points, I'm not driving 1.5 hours down there damn it. I can play 10 point teasers with both my local guys.

Lol, true, I doubt any, but Philly does have a good defense, & its at home, I think Philly wins one for their fans & let's it all out on the field cuz they know they won't get by Minny or Saints.
