Dodger, I don't know what it's like to have a family and bills to pay but, maybe I can help you out,. I got two credit cards and charged them to the max and my parents tried to warn me about my gambling addiction needless to say, I got in BIG trouble for a college student chaarged them both up to the max lost both two years ago and since paid most of it down. I was placing between 5-10 $50-100 bets every Saturday and Sunday during NFL season then I found NBA NHL and boxing as well needless to say it will be difficult but, even I at age 23 faced the fact that my gambling was getting worse I went to GA and I cut back to 1-2 bets a day andf I "allow" myself x amount to gamble each football season/NHL/NBA and I don't go beyond that no matter how good the game looks. I felt a big "void" like others have said but, I got myself a job and tightnened up financhialy even started reading more books and focusing more on school/work back then work/school was secondary to my gambling I was obsessed and out of control Good luck with your recoverey sorry for rambling remember everyday is a new day and you are in control of your actions also, when I got email phoner calls mail etc just tell them you joined GA you may have to repeat it to them but, they will stop calling after awhile
Welcome to the RX
Nice post
