RG3 was offensive rookie of the year and he was basically grounded by injury. I wouldn't consider him a bust.

I would. He absolutely sucked and Luck had a better rookie year than him but you know how the old affirmative action thing goes

based on what the redskins gave up to get him he is absolutely a bust. hell in that draft the redskins drafted rg3 and cousins, had paid over 100 million for them and neither on the team now and we have alex smith. a bust is someone who is projected to be a star and has all the hype, which rg3 did. if a team reaches and drafts a guy way higher than projected then the team is stupid more than the player is a bust.

tebow is sort of a bust but he shouldnt have been drafted that high and everyone knew it. it wasnt like he was projected as a great starting qb in the nfl, some team just over reached for him. he did have a playoff win which is more than i can say for rg3.

johnny manziel had the hype and talk, he is a bust as well as geno smith and josh freeman. projected first rounders that just didnt do a damn thing.

4. RG 3
5. Teddy Bridgewater
6. Christian Ponder
7. Jameis Winston
8.Manziel
9. Brady Quinn
10. Jake Locker
11. Blaine Gabbert
12. Michael Vick
13. Mark Sanchez
14. Josh Freeman
15.Sam Bradford
16. Tim Tebow

And probnably alot more. Those are the top names that come to mind.

This nis why I hate when teams take a qb high " just because they need one". You take them high because you think they will be an all pro for 15 years.

Look at the franchise qbs since 2000 that were taken high.

1. Aaron Rogers
2. Andrew Luck
3. Carson Wentz
4. Jared Goff ( POSSIBLY)
5. Eli Manning
6. Roethlisberger
7. Phillip Rivers
8. Matthew Stafford

So basically one every other year. There isnt a franchise qb in every single draft.

And then you have the so-so qbs

1. Cutler
2. Alex Smith
3. Cam Newton

Ryan Leaf, duh

That was 1998 but Jamarcus Russell was the bigger and the biggest bust of all time. Usually number 1 picks get chance after chance after chance. That guy was out of the NFL entirely within 3 seasons.

Al Davis was an absolute moron when it comes to this stuff. He was all time worse at selecting players. He valued stuff that doesnt even matter. Jamarcus Russell was so stupid and lazy he couldn't even put a coherent sentence together.

I dont think RG3 was a bust. He was a stud until he got hurt and his running capabilities were taken away.
Bridgewater- jury still out on him due to injuries. He was the 32nd pick in the draft so not major bust if he doesnt pan out
Jaemis- i would take him on my team
Vick- NOT a bust at all. WAs a stud until he was arrested
Sanchez- not gonna call a bust as he led his team to the AFC championship his 1st 2 seasons. However he never "upped" his game

On your franchise qb list, every qb on there was a top 10 pick except rogers. He was in the 20's.

If you were a qb drafted in the top 10 and didnt pan out, then you are a bust

So Vick is not a bust??? The same guy that missed 3 years in his prime to go to prison?? Guy probably has had about 15 decent games in his entire career.

RG3 not a bust because he was hurt? Why do teams continue drafting black quarterbacks. The guy is without a doubt a bust. Strop running around in the pocket. It doesnt work.

You want the crab leg guy on your team? I picture him stuffing his face at Golden Corrral yelling " where all the white women at" He belongs in a cage. Science would benefit from disecting his pea sized brain

Mark Sanchez is like 30 and hasnt been a starter in like 5 years and the Jets traded up for him.

RG3 not a bust? 2nd overall pick that had 1 good season, lost his job to Kirk Cousins in 3rd year as a pro, started 12 games in final 3 years, and was released by the AHEMM, Browns. He played in one playoff game and threw for 84 yards ... 2nd overall pick

yeah, that's exactly what a bust is :)

Andrew Luck should have been rookie of the year in 2012. Just another case of Affirmative Action.

Luck with damn near the same roster as the 2-14 team the year before took them to 11-5 in his rookie season. He has been better than advertised.

Now he misses the entire 2017 season and the Colts have the 3rd pick yet will make the playoffs in 2018 if he plays all 16 games.

The media hypes him up as top tier quarterback. i would not want him but I can be impartial. He is average. Probably the best black qb since Warren Moon. I will never understand why teams take black quarterbacks that are prone to run. Just stupid. Injury aside which is very likely; they are very easy to scheme against which is why they get worse as they enter their prime years.

Having him is like being in purgatory though. He is good enough to get you to around 7-9. A couple years ago when he was the fake MVP... Tons of luck went into that which is why it has not even came close top being duplicated.

The bar for being a good black qb is incredibly low yet they get picked in the 1st round every year. Such a joke.

Vick was awesome before he went to prison. The Falcons had some awesome years with him. Too bad he got locked up (moron) or he could have had a possible HOF career.
RG3 had an awesome rookie year, got injured, and was never the same. Thats the problem with running qb's. Once they get a leg injury, they are NEVER the same. I dont consider him a bust b/c of injury. I dont think he failed.
Jaemis- he's only been in the league 3 years. Had a good season or 2. Granted he may have regressed a little but the jury is still out on him. Cant label him a "bust" as he showed signs that he can play.
Sanchez has regressed big time but he showed so much promise in his 1st 2 years (he had awesome team around him but he made plays). He was probably thinking too much about his dick instead of him arm? who knows??

You could make a case for Luck being on this list. No QB is getting paid like him to do nothing for the last 2 years. You also could make a case that investing in him the way they have has set this franchise back years.. If he doesn't come back strong this year, Luck has to be on this list imo

I demand you retrtact this statement. It is crazy. This is eqivalent to calling Andrew Luck a black qb.
