i tipped everyone always got better service
whatever. thats why people are always complaining that they don't have money or they're in debt, they spend it too freely. i do my own yard work, that way i get alittle exercise and save a few grand.
That is too extreme ! One should tip certain people routinely, like:
Waitresses,waiters: 15% minimum, unless totally dissatisfied and never going back.
Bartender: Even a buck every other drink, adds up, better than nothing ( as a former bartender).
Cabbie: They are close to waitress level, need tips
I'd skip many like mailman ( makes 50k salary), landscaper,mechanic,barber,pet groomer,etc.
wow i didn't know mailmen made 50k a year. i worked as a mail carrier as a part timer and they gave me $13 an hour. i lasted less than 3 weeks, 2 of those weeks i watched movies and shit then i went out like 3 days of street training and told them i don't want to do this anymore. you gotta sort the mail for like 2 hours then you go out and carry that 50lb bag on your shoulder. f that. anyway i don't go to restaurants or bars, its too expensive. i went out one time to a restaurant and a burger cost $10.95. really what the hell do they put in that burger? then you gotta tip the waiter? why go to bars either when a heineken costs $4. i know a guy that owns a bar and he says that he gets heineken for less than a quarter a bottle because he buys large quantities at a time. then tip the bartender are you kidding me? now i know why that guy tells me he's got to go take the money from the suckers.
