well in basketball keith van horn got 4mil to sit on his couch but have his name dropped in the kidd deal thats not bad...

Has to be giambi. He doesnt even play a position he cant hit worth shit anymore this has to be his last year i almost dont see him making it through this year.
As much as i used to like Zito hes got to be the biggest pitching thief he must of wore a mask when he signed his deal he robbed san fran blind

Braun and fielder got signed right when they got in the league so its not like theve been playing for years at a high level.

Juan Uribe - $4.5 mill to bat .220 and strikeout in every key situation imagineable. Oh, and not be able to lay down a sac bunt every time you're asked to.

best short stop in the game

<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

understatement. he's a shhhtud. giving him up for beckett may have been worth it but damn, in the long run, he may have helped lead the bosox to more than just 1 world series (beckett wasn't with the '04 red sox).

The sox thought they had a long term solution in renteria and dealt hanley. I still remember thinking isnt that the sox' top prospect...they could end up regretting that.

Its a shame he gets shadowed because he plays in the same division as the two other best shortstops in baseball

It will all work out for the Sox. They won a World Series with Beckett and in a couple years they will just complete a trade to bring back Hanley for prospects. Friggin Marlins.

Ted Williams said, "If they're going to pay me $30,000 for the season the least I can do is bat .400".
