In a 0-0 1st leg, the 2nd leg is forced to be an open game. Even though I like how Man City matches up with Real Madrid, you can't expect a scoreless game again here. Real Madrid play to score and Man City are a great counter attacking team. A lot of press has gone to Ronaldo and if he is fit or not. Sounds like he will be a full go and Benzema will miss. The real missing link to Real Madrid is Casemiro at the CDM. Because his ability there allows Modric and Kross to push more and feed the scorers with solid set ups. So it sounds like Kross will fall back and play in Casemiro's spot today. Which I think is huge. Casemiro played in the 0-0 game @ City and was a force and has been all season under Zidane.
I honestly think Atletico in the final scares Real Madrid. It brings a bit of distraction in my honest opinion. They have Real Madrid's number and Real know that deep down.

The first leg I thought City was mentally overwhelmed and they were extremely fortunate not to concede an away goal. They were in their first semi final champions league ever and playing at home with thousands of supporters. Sometimes that can be a plus but not for an already big time club like Man City. Today I think they come in relaxed and hungry. Real has quite a few red flags at the wrong time. This is also a team in City that the public perceives a notch below Real Madrid. But I think they belong on the same pitch and City I think will be out to prove that with a result today.

Normally in this type of game, I wouldn't be hesitant to take a 2-0 win for Real Madrid. Because they have the ability to hold good teams scoreless and win by multiple goals when they have to. So yeah it sounds like bread and butter for Real Madrid, but I think Benzema is bigger than what people think because he is a poacher and can get ugly goals. Another player the public doesn't appreciate but he is good for them.
Man City is also good in the air. With Nicolas Otamendi being an absolute key piece to this defense. So ugly goals out of the equation and hard to score headers.... I think Man City has a legit shot. Added into it that Real Madrid's best CDM is out today which Kross, really a CAM will have to fall back and play more of a defensive roll. Which he is good at, but it makes them lose something going forward
