Psg is my pick to advance. I don't think I've been this certain on a soccer matchup since Chelsea beat Bayern munich in the CL final in 2012.

Psg have the capability to win at chelsea if they don't get 3 pts at home. So psg to advance is a lock imo. I just need to make sure PSG in the first leg is a good bet. But I know over 2 legs, psg will get it done.

Chelsea with a 5-1 victory over the weekend. Psg 0-0 draw. When I saw those results I was pumped because the perception leaks right over into this game. Chelsea is much better without mourinho. Psg can't finish. Chelsea revenge from last years exist vs psg. All of those thoughts. But, there's about a 95% chance I play psg in the first leg for a good amount. I see 2-0. Psg one of 3 teams to not concede at home in this tourney.

Agree. Take a look at the last time we have had back 2 back winners in this competition. Pretty eye opening. Hasn't been done since Ancelotti with Inter. Barca is special , but maybe we saw a little bit of selfishness yesterday with Suarez stepping in front of Neymar so suarez could get his hat trick.

Upsets rarely happen in CL because there are two legs. You saw last year Bayern was down 3-1 vs porto and won 5-0 at home. So things can change in a flash. An Injury, a red card, an accumulation of too many yellows results in a missed match. A lot can happen.
Soccer has a lot of similarities to football imo. Because these are not percentage sports. There is the unexplainable in these sports. Like when bayern in 2012 just needed a penalty in extra time to win vs chelsea but Frank Ribbery hurt his foot before the pen. So Robben had to take it and he hits the post and they end up losing in a shootout later. The unexplainable.

I don't think there is any value in Barca this year with such small odds. PSG at 12/1 is nice. I think Bayern hoists the trophy this year for that reasoning of b2b being so difficult, but the odds are also too small to even warrant the action.

Okay, we're back, finally.

Both teams arrive at this competition with something hanging over their heads. One with injuries and one with recent internal issues. Chelsea is on fire right now, unbeaten since the new manager with mostly wins. He has experience coaching Chelsea in the past and has had success in this tournament, so I can't rule out Chelsea completely as far as a blowout. They will come ready to play, especially since Chelsea has no chance of being in the Champions League next year, they will want to play at their highest potential I believe because this will be their last experience in this prestigious tournament for over a year. So I think the first leg will be close and I am starting to think PSG dominates the 2nd leg. But, this is a moment PSG has been looking towards for years and to play at home in the CL first, you know you have to take care of business to take off that pressure for the 2nd leg. So I'm not saying PSG has to win leg 1 in order to advance, but.... it pretty much is a must win for them at home.

The Right Back issue for PSG has everyone on their toes because the kid is a good player at 23, the reason he has been starting. But, with all that has gone on in Paris over the last year and the personnel with this team with Ibra leaving after this year.... I think the criticism this kid gave to his teammates and coaches will bring this team closer together today. Wow at Lucas starting over Cavanni. What that tells me is PSG knows they can't lose this game. They are going to track back on defense. But that is a ton of speed for PSG to try to match Willian and Hazard down the wings. PSG back end with Silva and Luiz(former chelsea player) are enough to keep Chelsea out of goal. Only player I worry about for chelsea scoring is Willian.

PSG ML -152 1st leg big for me

PSG to advance -165 (bet concludes March 9th) so I didn't play it for a lot like I would like.

no exactos today.

GL go PSG

Thanks mob best of luck and enjoy the game. I'm excited the tourney is back on. I'm also excited to see if barca can repeat. They're so strong but i know repeating is damn near impossible in any sport

No props for goal scorers today for some reason at my books. hmm. I would put a little on Willian to score a goal for chelsea if I could. I think it is 2-1 PSG, but psg hasn't conceded so I am hoping that stays true.

PSG's head coach was recently asked about their chances and he said, people are picking us to win it this year...in previous years we didn't have a good of a chance as we do right now, this year. That is why this year is different for them. GO PSG

Honestly if you follow this tournament over the last handful of years, you never really felt like PSG had a chance to win this tournament until now imo.
