I would have to think that the people at MLB.com know about this backdoor. There is no way they do not know about this.

I still haven't tried...I've been meaning to just to get another successful member, because it sounds legit. I'll try tomorrow if I remember. Big series right now...only played 3 v. the cubs so far...those are the only 2 teams blacked out here besides the white sox so it's a tough series for me to check!

Anyone else?

This game isn't blacked out for me, so I can't try it
however, since there are currently no other games going on to first tune it to, perhaps that is why?

I know for certain it works at least for me every time I have tried it....during the week and Saturday night/Sunday

It seems that i have to log in when i click on it, then i get to the blacked out screen, the back button just takes me back to the login screen. Seems it will work IF there is a game that works but also others that are blacked out.

I have done this before. SOmetimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Not sure what causes it to only work sometimes. There have been times when I used this to watch a blacked out game, had to close the mlb.tv window for a while, went to open it back up to finish watching the same game and this time the "back" trick wouldn't work.

The gig is up guys!! It appears that MLB.TV has a few workers who use this site! I cant make it work for almost any game now! Rangers and the Astros are blacked out for me and neither one will work. Hell I cant even get the back button to highlight, so my computer will not go back from that screen. It worked last week, but not now.

SHITT!!! It was a good gig for a while but now anymore!

Some people use international proxy servers to make it look like they are outside the US BUT I have also heard stories of major virus and hacking infestations when trying this as well so you never know!

If it works for Fox Saturday games I would be very happy!

Hello.
Thought this might be useful to a majority of you.

If you bring up the MLB.TV game selection screen (where they show all the games listed with the yellow TV box) and select the blacked out game, you will then get that message which states "OUR RECORDS INDICATE THIS GAME IS BLACKED OUT IN YOUR AREA...BLAH BLAH BLAH"

If you RIGHT CLICK inside that message box and select BACK

It will then go back to the game selection screen, below the area where the game usually plays, it will say "Buffering" and it will connect you to the "blacked out" game....

Tried this a few times over a few days to make sure it was valid.

Enjoy

this doesnt work for me

Guys..Just FYI

This is still working for me today.....Make sure you are using WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER....and not REAL PLAYER

Watching the Pirates at Marlins by first clicking to watch the Angels V. Toronto game, then clicking the Marlins Tv symbol....then when I get the error message(blackout) I right click and select BACK
