Agree using things like actual intel and profiling are much more effective.
If you believe TSA checkpoint screening is keeping planes from falling or Americans safe then you're sharp as a bag of dildos. The agent patting down the 6 yr old from Kentucky was praised for following "the proper pat down procedures". Yeah those brain dead govt job seekers really are doing quite a job....a dog&pony job. Well that's some twisted morality there. A poster just personally attacked everyone in the US gov't and God knows how many other co-conspirators by claiming they all plotted to murder thousands of their own citizens. So he can call X amount of people in my gov't murderers despite all evidence to the contrary. Yet I can't tell him where he should go. Naturally agree with the first statement.
As to the second, if they are in fact making such plans, they're pretty fucking slow at implementing them......you would think that in ten years a truly dedicated "terrorist organization" would have been able to at least set off a couple sticks of dynamite inside a shopping mall somewhere.
If the scanners & pat downs are "useless", you can count on this happening.
I.E. a plane being blown up in this manner. All it would take is a match and
one trip to the bathroom.
In fact, if security measures are so pathetic, one has to wonder why it hasn't
happened already. With millions of terrorists willing to sacrifice their lives for a
koran heaven full of virgins, many of such brainwashed suicidal maniacs being
little kids of about 6 years old.
I think the no fly list is a pretty big deterrent... its probably hard to devote time, and resources, to a plan if there's no guarantee your guys ever make it onto the plane. Having the same last name can get you pulled, so even if they have "clean" guys, they could get pinched.
Also the public and acquaintences are all more aware now, so its harder to not get pinched ahead of time - see the case of this kid here in OR, who i even spent some time with... i believe the deal is that his father notified the fbi, because his son was exhibiting some extremeist behavoir... he didnt have a plan, or anything, but just his general demeanor was enough to raise red flags, with his own family.
This certainly isnt everything, but i do believe that keeping would-be terrorists out of airports, out of schools, and ultimately out of the country should be the priority.

I have no idea what you said to me Scott but whatever it was, it won't bother me. Sorry you like many others continue to be sheep & believe the lies told to you. They are such enemies yet the #2 person in charge was caught having dinner with Pentagon officials months after 9/11. This is the same organization who are now are on "our side" fighting against "our enemies" in Libya. Our government thinks you are so stupid, they can have this info come out & no one will notice.
