Since they are marking him as a syndicate I hope they are voiding ALL of his wagers, including the $23,000 he lost before this robbery.

That's what's seedy about this, that they can unilaterally play their 'he's a syndicate' card whenever it suits them. Very opportunistic of them.

Was this guy in a syndicate when he lost 23K? Or did he join the syndicate later and that’s why he started to get his money back?

Or is it losing syndicate is ok?
Winning syndicate is not ok?

Can't believe this book is still a sponsor of this site.

In the past I have had MORE problems with Mill than ALL the other books combined. I only played there for their 2 team teaser @15 juice. I just withdrew the maximum Neteller free withdrawal and now have a balance of 65 dollars. I am DONE with Mill for their,as Chuck Sims says, SHIT BOOK attitude. Mill's mantra is "You lose, we win" "You win, we will make damn sure You lose" Hey Victor, Piss Up A Rope! LT:finger: :nohead:

SportsSavant - I'm not going anywhere, thought I posted quite clearly about that. I like this place and other than maybe SBR I can't even pretend to enjoy another site as much as this one. Having said though I'm not sure how much of that "platinum sponsorship" crap I can endure from BOS after this. I was really sold like many others that this place had seen the light and was turning over a new leaf, apparently that was never the case at all. That player could have easily been you or I, hard for me to pretend it didn't happen or it's no big deal, not sure how you can do it.

Seriously, don't you bet offshore? I know you run the contests here and BOS has sponsored many of them but doesn't this concern you? Are you really not upset by what they have done to this player? I would really like to hear your opinion about this. Not to sound melodramatic but these watchdog sites are sometimes the last line of defense for a player. Very disappointing to see that BOS has dismissed you all with that hardline stance they have given out about the decision is final. Maybe I am missing something but I would think all players would be pissed about this, moderator or not. What do you think SS, what are your thoughts about all this? Thanks.

I usually don't jump in these type of threads but this is a SAD SAD day for the Rx if this is true.

We only have each other to lean on in this tough enough game of gambling. Our hard earned money is far away in 3rd world countires and we give away all our power when we send it to these books.

you would think the if the RX felt strong enough to argue for this player than they obviously feel what the book has done is wrong and would take action to punish the book. THIS IS A WATCHDOG SITE FOR THE PLAYERS, IT NEEDS TO ACT LIKE IT.

SAD SAD SAD DAY

There is one thing that needs to happen...............

Jay C needs to start the campaign..........tell the RX to take down WSEX's banner and state that they will not be renewing as they don't want to be a book that is below the recommendation level of BOS.

Then maybe get Greek, Bet Jam, Cris and others that have respect for their reputation to also say they do not want to be below a book like BOS and have their ads removed and not pay anymore.

Could you imagine paying a site to say that BOS is on a higher level than you as a recommended book?

The RX is part of the scam - it can not be any clearer - all books have to do is pay their advertising fee and the RX is greased - .

Seems no one here understands, but these shops don'y pay monthly to have a banner here.

They work on an affiliate program.

Go to your favorite book click the affiliate icon and read how it works.

There are millions of $$ involved

I do beleive that BETonSPORTS has erred in their decesion, I beleive that if they want to kick out or limit a player they could have done a much better job, I beleive they should have allowed the guy to finish his rollover & then show him the door after that. Apperently they have some evidence to point to the fact that he was trying to circumvent limits by betting with a friend, but I beleive they have handled the case poorly.

I also beleive that everyone must do their due diligince, FISH & I always recommend a RISK vs REWARD model. For example, we both took alot of heat for recommending sexywager for this Black JAck contest, people bashing us left & right. Well, to be honest, sending 100$ to try them out wont sink me, or FISH, & we would never recommend anyone send their entire bankroll to any one book.... Books like BETonSPORTS & nine.com, do offer advantages to the players, you have to know how to use them effectively.... Players have to learn this the hard way sometimes....

Its easy for everyone to scream & shout, but we are dealing with an unregulated industry, even the top bookies have problems as was seen recently with WSEX.... As a website, we do what we can to help, ALWAYS, but we are not the offshore police.... people need to do their own due diligence..... BETonSPORTS may have ridiculous rules, but their rules are published.....

I wish they had just let this guy finish his rollover & shown him the door after that, that would have been the way to do it.... Especially since he had lost at BETMILL anyway.

Hey guys - sorry I was out all day and just got back to see all these
posts...

I would like to thank everyone for all their support (including all the
players offering to contact customer service and Bill and John’s
support from SBR offering to file formal complaints with the gaming
commissions and trying to speak to this public company's COO).

Just in terms of the latest spin that BetonSports is throwing out there
to justify stealing my money. I want you all to know the facts:

BetonSports' original reason for limiting me and threatening to keep my
bonus and winnings had to do with my knowing lines and betting "steam."
As you probably all know, that is bogus - but also irrelevant and not
a reason to steal. (Just in case you're interested, I am a pretty
average gambler – as you can probably tell from the fact that I'm done
$23k. And in terms of lines, my first wager at BoS turned out to be a
horrible line - I got the Blue Jays at +135 for my $9,000 and I think
the line closed closed at +145 or +150. And in terms of moving lines,
the BOS line manager himself admitted that he was wrong in thinking
that the line was moving.) But regardless – what does that have to do
with my money?? If they don’t want me to bet there that’s fine...but
give me the money I won!!!!!!

Anyway, only after Bill at SBR contacted them and said that this was
unfair to the player did they invent this new excuse. They say there
is another player playing at Millenium from a similar IP address.
There a bunch of people who gamble at my office, so I am not surprised.
I checked my betting history with the only guy I know of that plays at
Millenium (who doesn't play at BoS from what he told me) and there was
only ONE wager that was the same that I could tell. Also, I am
depositing like 2 or 3 thousand dollars there as you saw from my
Neteller history, so even BoS couldn't claim that multiple people are
coming in for the maximum and trying to circumvent limits.

Now they are keeping my money for referring friends to their site?
Come on. If they had a problem with that – perhaps they should have
said something while I was in the process in losing $23000 to them?????
Now all of a sudden after I finally win a wager they make these
ridiculous accusations??

Even according to their standpoint of stealing the bonus and its
winnings I should have gotten at a bare minimum $7800. By sending me
$6414 without my permission to close the account and without waiting to
hear my side they clearly are showing that they believe that theft is
ok.

I hope this clears things up a little for those who were hearing
ridiculous accusations and lets hope to hear some good news soon –
though from what I am hearing about the past crimes of BetonSports I
highly doubt we will get a favorable resolution. My only hope here is
the amazing Bill Dozer and Sbr.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

The posters here that took the time to make their feelings known are the real watchdogs and the true defenders of justice for their fellow players.

BOS has indicated that this policy will continue and that their rules will be updated to further warn players that they intend to confiscate bonuses and winning bets if they suspect a player is sharp/syndicate. You the players can not allow sportsbooks to drift back to the days when players were blatantly ripped off or you might be next.

If your caught counting cards at BJ in Las Vegas they politly ask you to leave.

They don't refuse to cash the chips you won.

the unfortunate reality is BETonSPORTS doesnt care because of the fact that these rules wont affect 99.7% of players.... only the odd guy who steps in to bet big dollars......

sadly enough players wont stop playing there to send them a message, because they also know these problems will lilely only affect the bigger bettors....

good or bad, this is the reality

Betmill become total trash once Richard Miller sold his interest. I too, hate Mill with a passion. They have treated me worse than any other book, including Nine.

HOWEVER

Why does everyone insist on dragging down BoS along with Mill? YES they are owned by the same corporate parent, but that does not automatically mean BoS management are the same prlcks.

Thats like saying if you have a problem with a Chrysler, a Mercedes is automatically a piece of shlt too (they are also owned by the same parent company, for anyone that doesn't know).

I will stand by BoS until someone proves to me the same problems with Mill management automatically translate to problems with Bos management. I have had nothing but good experiences with BoS since their change of management/ownership.

You are nuts if you put this in the same group as the horse racing dispute. Posters were split 50-50 on that one, this isn't even close.

This is an outright robbery. Even if their rules are legitimate, they allegations against this player are baseless. BOS is either crooked, stupid, or both. By what standard does one pair of bets from a common IP make a syndicate?

They were crooks when they stole the $500,000 8 years ago, they were crooks when they stiffed the parlay bettor out of $35,000 five years ago, and surprise surprise they are still crooks today.

Too many people look the other way because they don't think it will happen to them. I hope folks finally start seeing them for what they are. You players should stick together better.

They are one book today, more than ever. If you go back and read the original post by the player who got stiffed here, they are also threteaning to confiscate money out of his BOS account.

Also, right on the Millenium homepage:

Part of a Publicly Traded Company Listed on AIM, a Market Operated by The London Stock Exchange PLC.
