I really hope you will reconsider allowing BetOnSports to advertise here. If you're going to accept money in exchange for allowing a known scam book to advertise, you're essentially part of the scam. I hope you sleep well at night knowing that you're directing your readers towards a book that is willing to steal their money without compunction.

If the BetOnSports banner remains, I think that RX readers should contact the advertising books and urge them to not renew their advertising.

This thread is a reminder to all of us that books have most player by the nuts and can decide to squeeze if they want. It's shit like this where I wish there was a site or message board that didn't accept advertising for offshore players to go. I have lost all confidence in the concept "watchdog" as it seems everybody has their price.

When I joined this forum a few days ago, I was under the impression like most that The RX was indeed a "watchdog" for its members. Thinking this, I assumed that an advertisement for a sportsbook on this site would mean that the RX was, to some degree at least, vouching for that books integrity. The RX's decision to continue their implied endorcement of BOS's integrity despite clear evidence to the contrary is a real eye opener. Luckily, I found this thread and now no the true value of an RX endorcement. At least in this instance, the watchdog turned out to be a wolf leading unsuspecting members to the slaughter.

It's not a watchdog. The posters are the watchdog. There is even a mod here named Fishhead that had BOS/Mill as listed in his top 10 of books and would tell everybody how great they are even though they have a half a million dollar stiff job on their record. His only defense is "they have been good to me and I've never had a problem". That is like having a child molester living on your block and saying, that guy is a good guy because he hasn't molested my kids.

wil quote:
The Rx. is a business and requires a lot of revenue to operate so natrually we are cautious about removing banners.

Interpretation: "my salary could be on the line, so any sleazy mode of operation is justified"

Sometimes I just have to laugh at the authoritarian bullshit you write.

Good post! Yea, I see the light now. Just glad I read this thread instead of blindly accepting the RX endorsement. But some even more naive than myself will transfer the RX's supposed credibility to BOS. Of course, that's what C- sportsbooks are paying for.
