Top stars are very important to attendane figures; TV ratings; sports memorabilia sales; and we americans love the top dog...

But, I finally figured out some reasons why people do not understand the importance of Tiger; especially those from rainy States north of California...>>
The love the Big Ten:THE Ohio Stae U.; Jack Nicklaus; and ACC; Wake Forest; Arnold Palmer; and obviously understand how inferior the Pac 12 teams are: Stanford, Tiger Woods; and therefore dislike and are ashamed of Tiger; since it reminds them of how inferior the Pac 12 Footabll teams are; especially with FLA ST winning nat'l BCS football championship; and Big Ten, THE Ohio su winning Fotball playoff championship; and Pac 12 having no teams worth mentioning..

It was beautiful here in GA. Weather always plays a big role here with TV watchers during the day. The course was once again packed on Friday and once again the merchandise was sold out by 10 am.

Dont think the golf fans care what the TV ratings are.

No they don't but it was very cold acress much of the nation. The Masters are the one must-see golf event of the year to the casual fan, and there was no star attraction for them.
