NOPE.

Iowa just does not match up well (at ANY position) with LSU. Hell, after Saban announces that he is Ricky William's new baby-sitter, he may still coach the Capital One Bowl. BUT, if he does't that means that the Offensive Coordinator (Jimbo Fisher) will coach the game.....and that will be the worst news Iowa could possibly hear. Nick Saban is a defensive minded man, and admittedly runs a conservative offense, but Fisher will turn that playbook loose on the Hawkeyes. If Fisher coaches, LSU wins by 35.

Flame away.

This game is one that I am liking very much, Tate is a very good QB and if youve seen IOWA play this year then you know that MOST of time the plays called have broken up and he will scramble and make a play out of nothing. I don't believe that they will be able to rely on this in this game. LSU defensively has strength and speed on their side and under Saban plays Bowl games very well. Iowas game against Minnisota is a big teller to me that a Iowa is very vonurable and can be given problems by a very small D line in Minn. God only know what LSU's line will to to tate..

Pete please inlighten me on the LSU QB position. It one spot that I feel a little uncomfortable about.

Let me add that this line of +7 for Iowa SMELL like they are begging for Iowa action. I got a feelin theyll be getting plenty of it. I may play this game HUGE and am looking for some more knowledge on this LSU team thanks a bunch Pete. SureGuy

Just my 2 cents but Iowa's been money ats for a while now. An under-valued team. Ask Wiscy fans.

I believe Saban's gone, Madden made the point on MNF last night that if he was staying he would have outright denied the rumors as not to hurt recruiting, which makes sence if you think about it.

ARE YOU SURE THAT YOU NEED MY HELP? Hell, you made some very astute observations. Iowa absolutely LIVED on Tate's scrambling ability AND his passing ability when plays had broken down. This may happen once in a while in the Bowl game, but the majority of the time, this is going to DOOM Iowa.

Don't worry about the QB position for LSU.....their senior (Marcus Randall) finished the season strong and is going to have a HUGE day against Iowa.

Finally, I agree completely with the strategy of waiting for the line to drop. When Saban announces his decision to leave LSU, that line is going to drop like a rock.....and we'll sweep in and UNLOAD on LSU.
