Remember, UF didnt have cece Jefferson and reese in the Kentucky game. Since those two came back the defense has been a lot tougher and this Gator D produces a shitload of turnovers. However, I am not putting this team in the SEC championship game.

True. Also, there are 5 new starters since that UK game on D. Grantham needed to feel out the talent and looks like he has found a good rotation. Reese's return has been huge, more so than Jefferson (Polite and Zuniga are better players).

There were plenty of chances for the D to roll over in this game. I'm glad it was in Gainesville, would have likely been a loss in Baton Rouge.

I cant stand the gators but will always root for them to beat LSU after LSU pulled a "punk move" a few years ago and refused to replay a cancelled game in Gainesville due to a hurricane and ONLY agreed to make up the game if played in Baton Rouge. Still cracks me up that the gators (who stunk that year) beat em

You're confused, because that isn't what happened.....at all. Jeremy Foley (Florida AD) refused to play that game....not LSU. By the way, Florida refused to switch the event to Baton Rouge. As a result, LSU has had to play back to back game AT Florida. AND, the real laugher was that every other game in Florida was played that weekend......including athletic events at Florida.

The real culprit was Jeremy Foley, not LSU.

This is what happened....

In October 2016, LSU was supposed to play at Florida. Florida canceled the game due to the anticipation of Hurricane Matthew. This was supposed to be a "big" hurricane which did absolutely nothing. However, the gators cancelled the game as most of the State of Florida "shut down" for the week.

Florida did NOT want to play the game at LSU that week.

Fast forward to Nov 19, 2016. LSU was supposed to play a home game vs South Alabama. The gators had a home game vs Presbyterian. Both schools bought out their opponent so they can play 1 another (i believe that Pres played South Bama that weekend and was broadcasted on SEC network).

LSU refused to play at Florida b/c they didnt want to play 3 road games in a row in a 13 day span. Florida eventually agreed to play in Baton Rouge but the gators were the "home team". The gators werent good that year. LSU was. The gators ended up winning a "home game" in Baton Rouge. I remember the gators had a crazy goal line stand.

Not confused at all my friend

Okay, you're not confused....you just left out a ton of facts. Your accusation of "punk move" is pointed at the wrong team.....and their Athletic Director.
