You two are on your own with the affinity toward ass-rapin. See you in Gainesville.......call me if you're in town.

Man, I'm still in DC. Will hopefully move back in 2021. Good luck in hogtown....I have a small gut feeling we win, but the pessimist in me says otherwise. Your guys look good this year.

Joe Burrow possible difference here. He is steadily improving, making good decisions, good footwork, and seems to be more than game manager type QB. Florida is lucky last week that MSU dropped so many key passes. Gators haven't really faced a QB that passes well, and though Burrow's stats aren't eye-popping, I think he is likely the best they'll have seen so far. Eye test..he looks like a good college QB.

Great observation Fred, this game could boil down to which QB prevails in the area of "turn-over prevention" where Burrows seems to have the edge, I'm not convinced of the level of Frank's composure in tight quarters.

A footnote comment regarding the game tomorrow, the "Jaws" of summer heat are still griping the State of Florida, temperature in Gainesville will be in the low 90's at kick-off with high humidity and the ever-present chance of a thunderstorm at that time of the day on, into the early evening. Not certain that this plays into the hands of the Gators or not with LSU being a "warm weather" school as well.

Mack, have you ever experienced the heat and humidity of south Louisiana? Weather conditions should not favor either team in this one.

I agree; It does gets hot enough in South Louisiana to get the balls of a "brass Bengal Tiger" to sweat.

Out or curiosity, what is a Cajun like you doing in Innsbruck, Austria. I've been there several times,
A beautiful part of the world (the Austrian Alps).

This should be a close game. As a UF fan, of course I hope they win....but I agree w/ Pete on Franks. He's not had to win a game yet (put it on his shoulders). He has done well managing what Mullen wants him to do. UF is only averaging 59 plays/game. I see this very low scoring, somewhere along the lines of LSU 16-10.

Coach, I agree this will be a close, low scoring game. The past four meetings have been decided by a TD or less. The question
for me is can Florida move the ball? Just not sure! I'm playing 12 games this weekend but did not bet on this one. Here's and
interesting stat: Ed Orgeron is 9-1 ATS vs. SEC teams as LSU's head coach.

GL Coach on your pick...I will enjoy watching this one.

The line with my book opened at 45, moved to 43' and is presently at 44'; I'm still going with a 27-13 score. The under play will hinge on the number of turn-overs which both teams are capable of committing......Franks has to show me otherwise......

As I was saying all along....Florida will win this one easily!!

Just kidding. What a hell of a game by the UF defense. I'm shocked at how well UF moved the ball and should have comfortably had a lead in the 2nd half if not for a bad 1st down INT in the endzone by Franks (inexcusable). Both teams had their chances to pull away. LSU jumped ahead REAL quick, but UF settled down. The crowd was certainly a factor. Really surprised this game went 'over'.

You are right coach, a great win for the Gators but the big surprise was the running game against a physical LSU defense. Franks didn't surprise me when that end-zone interception occurred. Do you feel the Gators are in the "hunt" (a long-shot) for an SEC East title. ?

The gators will be favored in 3 of their 4 remaining SEC games. Just have to beat UGA at the cocktail party and we all know crazy stuff have happened there in the past.

I wonder what the odds are that the Gators win the SEC east as it could have good value? Plus it makes Bama's road to the CFP that much easier!!

The Gators are in Nashville next Saturday and Jacksonville for the Georgia Game the following week; They will find out this month whether they will still be in the "hunt" for SEC East title. The home game next month against Mizzou is no sure win and Muschamp should bring to Gainesville a fired-up South Carolina team....No rest for the weary in the SEC.......

I don't think UF has a chance at the East. I figured this was a 6 to 8 win team, so I'm pleasantly surprised (very). There's too many deficiencies on the team and a lack of depth. The OL still stinks and Franks is inconsistent - his completion percentage is the biggest problem; he's making more plays and making better decisions w/ the ball - Mullen has proven he can coach up the QBs.

I agree that Missouri and SC will be tough games. FSU isn't going to roll over for UF either. I think UF loses 2 more and finishes w/ a very respectable 9-3 record. If not for Kentucky's year, Mullen should be in the running for SEC COTY. McElwain left the program a disaster.

One correction here, UF has a bye week after Vandy before heading to Jacksonville.

FSU isn’t that good. South Carolina looked like crap yesterday. Not sure if u watched the game but they only got hot during the crazy hail storm as Missouri kept shooting them selves in the foot

Agree on both....but UF isn't that good either. They gave up 303 rushing yards to Kentucky. They scored 13 vs. MSU, 20 (offensively) vs. LSU, 16 vs. Kentucky. The O needs to improve; the OL still stinks, and Franks is still a middle-of-the-road QB. UF is seemingly better than the rest of the schedule (except UGA)....but we all know how that goes, especially in the SEC and rivalry games (FSU - which is at FSU this year).

Remember, UF didnt have cece Jefferson and reese in the Kentucky game. Since those two came back the defense has been a lot tougher and this Gator D produces a shitload of turnovers. However, I am not putting this team in the SEC championship game.
